Extraordinary experience - Fascinating tour and lesson in history. Eurocentric west rarely teaches the impact in Southeast Asia of WW2 William the tour leader was charming and knowledgeable. Warning though it’s a old day in very hot area

An unexpected disappointment in Viator - We have used Viator successfully fir several years. This tour was disappointing. Our tour guide Eddy was very charming but was not very knowledgeable, his English was not up to standard and he slept the two hours to our destination and the 3 hours back. The most difficult part was our return to Bangkok. We had specifically booked this tour because we were told we would have pick up and drop off at our hotel as my friend has mobility issues. All the passengers were told the same thing. When we we arrived back in Bankok we were delivered to the MBK mall and told we would have to find our own way back to our hotel. This caused considerable stress to the passengers, the driver and guide. After several phone calls we were driven to our hotel. The whole episode added another half hour to our travel time and put a bad end on a long hot day.
