Excellent tour - Great tour today. A full day one but interesting and good value. War cemetery for the death railway. Very moving. Great to walk over the bridge and then a train ride along the railway for a lunch stop. Drive back to Bangkok.

River Kwai - Very good, it's worth visiting, the view from the bridge is beautiful, it's also worth taking the walk along the line of death. Must be marked to have a good seat on the train

Very mixed opinion - Twenty-five years ago there was almost nothing around the Kwai River Bridge. Now there are restaurants everywhere, platforms have been created on the bridge (it seems to me), a huge temple has been built. The site is a tourist nigad catcher. In the past the place had no particular charm but now it is even worse. He has no charm at all. For war history buffs, the visit can be interesting. We went back to the double viaduct on stilts also called the Death Train. During its construction during the war, many prisoners of war and civilians died. Nearby there is a small cave with a small Burmese temple inside. The surrounding vegetation is beautiful and landscape is nice to see. We took the tourist train, completely out of control. The ride brings nothing. The guide steered us very badly to settle in the train: the only place you had to be installed to see the train for a few seconds on the tracks and the stilts is at the back and we were in front and on the wrong side!

The worst waste of time of my life - If you are into history, you are definitely going to enjoy the part of visiting the WWII cemetery and certainly the museum, after that, is fun to cross the bridge in a speed boat to see the bridge and hear the story of how did they built it, which is very sad, but do not even think of get on that train to be able to get to the waterfalls because you will lose the time of your life. Is a veeeery long way, nothing interesting to see just to get you to a place to have lunch and enjoy the waterfalls just for half an hour. If you opt for a tour, try to make it your way otherwise you will forget that you enjoyed the beginning of the tour and it will become a torture.
