- Bridge Over the River Kwai - From Hua Hin, it takes about 2.5 hours to reach the historic and renowned Bridge over the Kwai River. This bridge gained fame through Pierre Boulle’s book and its film adaptation, The Bridge on the River Kwai.
- JEATH War Museum - Explore the JEATH War Museum, which is divided into two sections. One section depicts the construction of the Death Railway, recreating the quarters used by Allied POWs. The other section features reconstructed bamboo huts containing items such as paintings, drawings, photos by and of former prisoners, weapons, tools, and maps.
- River Kwai - We will then take a train ride along the Kwai River on the historic route, passing through beautiful scenery and the somber Death Railway, named for the high number of lives lost during its construction.
- Krasae Cave - Enjoy a Thai lunch buffet at a local restaurant. Afterward, we will visit the Death Railway. Estimates vary, but of the more than 60,000 prisoners of war forced to work on the Death Railway, 13,000 are believed to have died, along with up to 90,000 Southeast Asian civilian forced laborers. Those who survived faced terrible living and working conditions, including a humid, monsoon-prone climate that spread diseases, food shortages, lack of medical care, and the immense task of construction on unforgiving terrain with primitive tools. This is not to mention the extreme violence and torture inflicted by the Japanese and Korean soldiers overseeing the construction. The Death Railway was completed in October 1943.
- Kanchanaburi War Cemetery - Also known as the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, this site contains the remains of 6,982 Australian, Dutch, and British war prisoners who died during the construction of the Death Railway. Afterward, we will return to Hua Hin.

Peaceful - Full of history, somber but also very beautiful place. A beautiful place for all the lost souls to finally rest.

Experience of a lifetime 🤗 - We had a fantastic experience, can highly recommend booking the trip here through Tripadvisor. It is cheaper than the others who organize trips to the River Kwai.
We were picked up at the hotel together with 5 others.
We got a boat ride on the River Kwai, and a very nice train ride of about 90 minutes.
The food for dinner was incredibly good.
The guide and driver absolutely top notch.
We had an experience that we will never forget.

Exciting historical tour - Fantastic exciting historical tour. Good guide and car that drove us. Got to see some things to think about and that you had heard about or seen on film. But an experience to stand by the bridge and drive on the railway and see the museum. Lunch in fantastic surroundings

Kwai experience - Loved every minute. The boat ride, train, walk over the bridge and cave. The tour guide Mr Bao was very friendly and knowledgeable. The vehicle was air conditioned and only 5 in the group. The lunch was very varied and tasty. Very hot day at the war graves and museum. I’d recommend this tour and very good alien for money. Thank you.

I would do the trip again in a heartbeat, it was worth it. I can recommend it to anyone. - The trip was very well organized, the travel guide was relatively good. The price was also quite reasonable considering everything on offer.

A long, but enjoyable day - Our guide Jack was excellent, very chatty, good English and very engaging. The whole trip is very educational, interesting and quite moving learning about, and seeing the history of the Death Railway. We visited the museum, one of the many cemeteries, a ride on the railway, and a short river trip to the famous Bridge over the River Kwai. A nice buffet lunch was provided half way through the day. The only negatives was our pickup was nearly 30 minutes late, which was neither appreciated after an early start, and it seemed to negatively affect the time we could spend at the museum. It’s a long day with over 3 hours driving from Hua Hin each way and the trip was over 12 hours in total.

If you like war history this is a good tour - Really interesting history and lots to see and experience. Driver was way too fast on the roads and it was mostly a self guided tour of,the museum etc. train ride and boat ride are highlights. The tour guide slept in the way back.
