Kailasanatha Temple - Architecturally beautiful Kailasanathar Temple:
The temple was first of its kind of stone architecture as compared to others in Pallava that were stone carved or rock cut. The foundation made of granite withstands the load of the entire massive structure. With over 58 shrines made in niches of the compound wall, the temple stands out as an epitome of construction with sandstone. Pillars of the mandapa have statues of lions standing on their hind legs, symbolizing people not to harm the temple.
Magnificent temple has a good serial vision, that has to be experienced, rather being written.
