• Gregory Lake - Gregory Lake was created in 1873 by the British era Governor at the time, Sir William Gregory, supposedly for the purpose of providing electricity. However the lake was mainly used for leisure and recreation after it was built. At its peak of fame, Gregory Lake was the most prominent attraction in the area and was used a place to relax by many visitors.

Initially, we’ll arrange for your pickup from your hotel in Kandy and transport you to the train station. There, our driver will handle your luggage and await your arrival at the Nuwaraeliya station. They will then accompany you on a tour of the city. Ultimately, we will ensure your transport from the town of Nuwara Eliya to the city of Ella in our vehicle.

We promise to secure either 2nd class or 3rd class train tickets for your tour.. This is due to the majority of local agents blocking out the tickets, sometimes leaving us unable to secure any for you. If there are no tickets left, you may be required to pay a little extra to secure a 1st class ticket. The cost per person for the ticket - 20$.

If no tickets are available, we can offer to transport you from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya in our vehicle, with the train journey from Nuwara Eliya to Ella to follow. This journey provides equally mesmerising views. No additional charges are applicable for this mode of transport.

If tickets are entirely unavailable, we promise a 100% refund on the amount paid by you.(Price includes 3rd or 2nd ticket for 1 passenger)
