Best one-day tour around Kandy for couples - Lasantha was a fantastic host and made our Kandy trip special. We started our tour late at 130pm as we just arrived to Kandy. He was very understanding and adjusted our schedule accordinglyby bringing us to key places to visit: a tea factory, spice garden and the kandy viewpoint. Initially, we thought it would be one of those tourist traps that and were fully prepared for it. Our fears were not justified- the tea factory and spice garden were both memorable experiences. We learnt about the intricate process of tea production (do you know that the plant has a machine from Korea that sorts the tea leaves by colour using an image recognition technology?) and the different types of Ayurvedic healing products (we even got the chance to cook our own Dahl), all for free, without feeling pressured to buy anything. Lasantha was always smiling and knew the places very well. In just 3 hours, we felt that we already knew Sri Lanka well. For the price of the tour, the experience surpassed our expectations and could probably rival other much more expensive tour packages. I would thoroughly recommend guests to come for the tour on the tuktuk. It was awesome!!!

Busy and fun - We would highly recommend the city tour with Lasantha. Our day had so many highlights its hard to choose the best of them. Being tea drinkers it was incredible going through the tea factory and seeing the 1940's machinery operating ,and to understand how its processed and graded,sold and exported. We had lunch in a small local Sri Lankan place with Lasthantha ,The gardens ,templesand traditional dance at the cultural centre at 5 pm we loved it. Amazing day with Lasantha's Kandy city tuk tuk tour - I had an amazing day with Lasantha's Kandy city tuk tuk tour. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and flexible with the itinerary. He was patient in allowing me as much time as I needed at each place we visited. His English was good enough and he had a vey likable personality with good sense of humour. The places we visited were carefully chosen and I felt all of them were fantastic - rich in culture, history and nature. His choice of restaurant for lunch was fabulous for an authentic, tasty Sri Lankan rice and curries meal. I would recommend this operator and the tour.

Absolutely great day and tour in Kandy! - We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring Kandy on Lasantha's tuktuk tour. We have seen so many great places... He was a safe driver and great tour guide. He also stopped to show us interesting things by the side of the road as fields and plants. Also he accepted some minor changes in the places to visit according to our wissen. His English is good and he even came inside some of the temples with us to explain what we should know. The tour and places to see are selected very well, so the ride along rice fields and green areas was also really impressive. We would highly recommend Lasantha!

Fantastic tuktuk tour, lovely guide - I had a fantastic day exploring Kandy on Lasantha's tuktuk tour. He was a safe driver and excellent tour guide. He stopped to show me interesting things by the side of the road, stopped whenever I wanted to take photos and was very obliging all day. His English is good and he even came inside some of the temples with me and explained about them. He took me to a very nice and cheap place for lunch and got me a very good reserved seat for the cultural dance. I would highly recommend Lasantha!!

Fun day exploring Kandy - We had a very fun day with Lasantha exploring Kandy by Tuk Tuk. Lasantha is highly knowledgeable, explaining things at each stop and whilst driving, it felt like having our own personal tour guide! He is also very friendly. We managed to see all the major attractions in one day and would highly recommend this activity!
