• Ella Train Trips - The Ella Train Journey is renowned as one of the most stunning train rides globally. The most picturesque segment begins after Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya). From the start to the end, the journey offers breathtaking green landscapes. The train winds through hills, tea plantations, rivers, and waterfalls. Operating daily, the service provides tickets from Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya) to Ella with reserved seating (seat numbers are printed on the tickets). Depending on availability, tickets are issued for either 2nd or 3rd class reserved coaches. Both classes feature openable windows to fully appreciate the scenic views. Only passengers with reserved seats are permitted, ensuring the train remains uncrowded compared to ordinary coaches with unreserved seating.

The Ella Train Ride is hailed as one of the world’s most scenic train journeys. We provide our guests with the chance to book seats on the renowned Blue Train (the most popular train).
We arrange for the tickets to be delivered to your accommodation in either Nuwaraeliya or Kandy. Ensure your hotel name is included in your booking or relay it to us via a WhatsApp message, along with your BR number.
There are two train departures per day:

• 12.40 pm
• 2.30 pm

Select your preferred departure time, and we will strive to meet your preference. We will notify you beforehand should there be any modifications.
A physical ticket is required for the trip, which we will deliver by 9.00 am on the date of travel. The delivery schedule may fluctuate depending on the workload of the delivery team.
Our ticket price includes a service charge, therefore, it might differ from the face value of the ticket.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
