Polonnaruwa is the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms, now in ruins, featuring many palaces and temples such as Gala Vihara, Lankatilaka, Polonnaruwa Ruins, and the Archaeological Museum. After exploring these sites, you will have lunch at a recommended restaurant. Post-lunch, the tour continues with visits to the Archaeological Museum, Quadrangle, Rankot Vihara, Tivanka Image House, and Thuparama Gedige, completing the second part of the day tour.
