Must Do in Sri Lanka - The absolute best experience and dinner we have had so far in Sri Lanka. A winner by a long mile! The experience is built like this: you start with going to the market with Nandi, sweetest woman alive, then after buying everything you are driven to this small village in Kandy and you cook 6 different dishes with expert help. I cannot recommend this enough - price is well worth it!!!

Amazing Traditional Cooking Experience! - I had a fantastic time at the Sri Lanka Cooking Class by AGS. The lady hosting the class was incredibly kind and skilled, teaching us the traditional ways of preparing Sri Lankan dishes. The food was absolutely delicious, and there was so much of it! Every dish was full of flavor, and the whole experience felt authentic and warm. To top it all off, we were treated to some delightful pancakes at the end. I highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Kandy—it’s a must-try experience!

Must- do in Kandy for the ultimate local experience! - This place is absolutely amazing!!! You have to come here when you go to Kandy, and also you should also stay at their beautiful accommodation. The staff is the most amazing family! They are so friendly, and make you feel like you are at home. The room is spacious, luxurious and beautifully built! The cleanliness is also spot on! Do sign up for the evening cooking class as well. It is the best Sri Lankan food we have had so far. The mother of the house will cook with you for hours and make countless vegetarian curries, 1 fish curry, 1 egg curry, coconut sambol, rice and more! I highly recommend staying here!

Best cooking class in SL! - Amazing cooking class in a really lovely family home’s outdoor kitchen, in a beautiful neighbourhood outside of Kandy which is like an oasis. The hotel pick up and market visit with Sudesh was seamless and fascinating, and Nandi is the sweetest and best teacher in the kitchen. And most importantly the food is the best we’ve had in our time in Sri Lanka! 😋

Very nice cooking class and really good dishes - Super nice family. We cooked several different dishes and all of them tasted very good! First we visited the market and were shown around.

A great cooking experience - An amazing experience cooking authentic Sri Lankan dishes with Sudesh's mother. She was knowledgeable and very sweet. We ended up making 9 different curries as well as accompaniments, which was a lot more than we were expecting, all of them were delicious!

Fantastic cooking class! - Wow, what a memorable experience!! Tucked away in the hills is this beautiful home where you can learn, cook and eat mazing Sri Lankan food. We booked last minute and it was no trouble, all really easy arranging over WhatsApp. An excellent evening that we highly recommend and very good value.

Great cooking class in traditional family home setting - We really enjoyed the cooking class! The class was set out in a traditionally built open kitchen in the home of a Sri Lankan family. We were offered to go to the market with them and choose the vegetables we wanted to cook. That in itself was a great experience, as you get to dive into Sri Lankan daily life and get to know so many vegetables that were completely new to us! The class was really good and we learnt how to make coconut milk ourselves and made 7 different curries, amongst which were wing bean curry, jackfruit curry and manioc curry! The food was absolutely delicious and the family was extremely kind and welcoming. We had a lot of fun, learnt many new recipes and enjoyed some amazing local food! Also, we can recommend staying with Sudesh‘s family, as they offer a really nice homestay in their charming guesthouse. Thank you for making this a really special experience during our visit in Sri Lanka!

Sri Lanka best cooking teacher - We had such a lovely cooking class. The teacher is so friendly, sweet, patient. We cooked so many different dishes. They were all so delicious. I will definitely be able to cook them once I get Home. The setting of the class is charming, as you cook at her house in outdoor covered kitchen.
