Lovely Urban Hike Experience - Despite the heat it was a great urban hike experience. Lisa is an unbelievably pleasant guide who has the perfect demeanor and is very knowledgeable. It was a great experience all around. I took my three kids (10, 12, 15) and they enjoyed learning about the history of the city and seeing the different murals. 10/10 would go on another urban hike.

Great Intro to Kansas City - We did the Crossroads Art District & Westside Urban Hike and it was so much fun! I was surprised that the majority of the people on our tour were locals (we were visiting and had never been to Kansas City before). What a great intro to the city and a chance to see areas we never would have seen on our own! We started at the WW1 Memorial, which has a great view of the skyline, continued on to check out the inside of Union Station, saw a ton of beautiful murals and interesting buildings as we wandered through the neighborhoods, had a brief rest stop with a drink at a Mexican restaurant along the way, and visited countless stops with great views. We learned so much about the history, culture, and architecture of the city, and covered a lot of ground. At the end, we hopped on the train to go back to our starting point, where our guide provided us with a ton of restaurant recommendations for lunch. I would absolutely recommend for anyone visiting Kansas City or for anyone local who is just wanting to check out a part of town they’ve never explored.

The Perfect Birthday Adventure!! - We booked an Urban Hike to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday and invited several of our friends. Even as 20 year residents of Kansas City, we had an absolute blast exploring the Crossroads and Westside!! From start to finish, we learned so many interesting facts about our city that we often don’t take the time to stop and appreciate! We loved seeing the colorful street art and walking through the beautifully renovated homes of the Westside! Lisa, our guide, was extremely, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! I highly recommend Urban Hike KC! We will definitely be joining another hike in the near future!!

The best tour of Kansas City - We only had 2 days in KC and I was booking last minute, so I contacted Lisa and she created a tour for us which we were very grateful for. The weather was freezing (-17 Celsius + snow + a windchill that made us lose feelings in our fingers!) and Lisa still gave us the most incredible tour of the city. We started in Union Station and the Liberty memorial then walked through the streets to see the many murals, stopped at a lovely coffee shop, had a ride on the street car and saw the Missouri river which was frozen! It was brilliant meeting Lisa, she has incredible knowledge of Kansas City and is just an awesome person to spend time with. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this tour to anybody visiting KC, it is the best way to learn the history and see the sights.
