This 1.5-hour Segway tour will visit the cultural center of Kansas City, taking in the architecture, art, and landscape/gardens of our bustling metropolis. This 1.5 hr tour does NOT go to The Plaza shopping/restaurant district or to the Westport area.
Please note that all guests NEED TO ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE the start of their tour time for MANDATORY SEGWAY TRAINING. There is available on-street PARKING in the immediate area along Walnut St. and 43rd St.
- Minimum age is 12 years old AND THEY MUST WEIGH AT LEAST 100 lbs. for the Segway base to operate correctly.
- Participants under 18 MUST be with a parent or responsible party 21 yrs or older to sign waiver.
- Maximum weight is 275 lbs.
- Dress code: closed-toe shoes are best, no heels, weather appropriate layers, and no hats worn under helmets.
- Sorry, NO PREGNANT Segway tour participants!
- NOT recommended for those with restricted mobility issues, must be able to stand comfortably for up to 2 hrs.
- NOT recommended for those with recent hip or knee replacement or back surgeries.
- NOT ALLOWED FOR PREGNANT TRAVELERS.
- Not recommended for participants who have had major hip/knee replacement surgeries.

All we had to do was follow our knowledgeable guide for a superb sightseeing experience. - Segways are easy to ride, and we quickly became proficient at maneuvering the intuitive conveyance. All we had to do was follow our knowledgeable guide for a superb sightseeing experience. Jason, our guide for the afternoon, was kind, knowledgeable and sincere as he guided us through the Kemper Museum of contemporary art, then over to the Nelson-Atkins Museum, and finally the Kauffman Memorial Gardens. There is no way a walking tour could ever cover as much distance as we did on the Segways. Segways are the best way to sightsee in Kansas City.

Unique date idea and so fun! - We had a great tour and our tour guide Kyle was very knowledgeable about art. We will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

Fun Activity in Kansas City, MO - Although we got off to an unsteady start, after a short lesson, we had a great time riding a Segway for the first time! We enjoyed learning about the Kansas City Art Institute and visiting the Kauffman Memorial Garden. Kyle was helpful and very knowledgeable of the area and all of the places that we visited. Definitely recommend this tour!

Fun Afternoon - Kyle & Jason were so patient, it was my sons (14yr old) first time and they took the time to make sure he was comfortable before starting the tour and made accommodations to the tour for him. This was my husband’s and my second time on this tour and we will definitely be back. Thanks Kyle & Jason for a fun afternoon!

Segway first timers - Great fun! The Segways are a fun way to transit as Kyle shares his knowledge of the area. Even as first timers on Segway's we had a ball. The whole 1.5 hours was totally enjoyable! Definitely recommend!

An Amazing Family Experience - Jason and Kyle were great tour guides. They were very knowledgable of the sights and they patiently taught all of us how to ride before we left on the art adventure. I was worried that my wife or 12 year old daughter wouldn't be able to handle the Segways, but they trained them well
up front and by the end they were experts. I felt very safe the whole time, and they showed us some amazing things. I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent experience - Both of the instructors were very knowledgeable and took the time to help us as it was our first time . Some of us were apprehensive but felt very comfortable after a few minutes of lesson given by the instructors.

A must-do in KC! - I highly recommend this tour to everyone. Kyle was our guide, and he is great. He provided a lot of interesting info and made the tour a lot of fun. If you have never used a Segway before, it's easy to learn. My two friends had never done it before, and they were comfortable within a few minutes.
