So much fun! - We had so much fun at Legoland Discovery! We took our grandchildren who are 3 and 6 months. Our 3 year old had a blast going from one area to the next. Our little guy was in a stroller and his little eyes wandered everywhere with excitement. Everything was well placed, clean, and the team members were all friendly! The price was perfect for a family outing! We highly recommend!

Kids loved it! - After reading several negative reviews, we were hesitant to visit here while on the last day of vacation. We had already told the kids we were coming (girls age 6-9) and they were excited, so we pushed on. I’m not sure what negative reviewers were expecting, but our kids loved this place! They had lots of activities for the kids, and no exhibits were closed. Neat 3d short movie experience with wind, water, etc to make it realistic. The 3d ride was an additional cost- but super fun! We bought the joint ticket with Sea Life and headed over there next. Sea life was fun for the kids, but we have been to much better aquariums, so my husband and I were not as impressed with Sea Life. If you’re taking kids though- it’s about them! They didn’t complain about anything, including Sea Life. They loved the whole experience. Would definitely return! Now, we’ve never visited any other Lego themed park, so we don’t have anything to compare it to, so keep that in mind.

Fun at Lego land discovery center - Had such a great time with the grandkids (ages 4 and 7). They had different age appropriate experiences. Wish you didn’t have to pay extra for the vr experience but we all had so much fun. Only takes a couple of hours. They comp the expensive parking so that makes the price better! Would definitely recommend combining it with the aquarium next door.

Friendly Staff who made us feel like they wanted to be there too! - My 5 yr old son and I visited Legoland KC downtown at Crown Center on a whim today and had a blast! We had been there before but he was too young to really want to “build”. This time we enjoyed all of the rides, the movie and building! The staff went above and beyond! Johnathon, Michael HJ, Xavier, Jacob and Katie were the main employees we interacted with today and all of them had smiles and interacted well with my son to make him feel included and excited to be there!

Not worth it - We took our 5 year old for his birthday and were highly disappointed. Most things were broken. The entire place was disgustingly grimey and dirty. We spent about an hour and a half and stretched to fill that time. The fee to get in is outrageous for what it has to offer. Especially with a lot of the attractions being broke.

Not worth it - I have a 6 year old who is very into legos, and we didn’t enjoy Legoland KC. It’s very small, and we were done in about an hour. We expected it to be busy on a Sunday, but it there wasn’t much space to move around, let alone work at any of the stations. The cafe was closed, which was surprising for a busy day. There were a few small rides/experiences, but nothing to warrant waiting for 20 min. The only employees i saw were those working the rides, and most of the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty, and it was 10 am.

This isn’t actually Lego. - Don’t do it. It’s a scam. It’s dirty, most of the models look as though they have unattended for a long time, with parts knocked over and dust everywhere. The activities were hardly Lego i.e. a Macdonald’s style play structure that has a couple giant Lego stickers stuck to it. In fact it’s not Lego. The Discovery Centers and The theme parks are run by another company. This is why all the merch in the store was marked up $5. If you have to go buy your tickets ahead of time (still expensive but cheaper) and only take your 4 year old and one adult. And you’ll never go back.

Incredible disappointment - I am writing this review in the hope that other families who work hard for their money and have limited budgets for family fun will not waste money as we did. The whole attraction was run down, filthy and decrepit. More than half the attractions were altogether inoperable. Most of the ones that were open were malfunctioning. Legos at build stations were not stocked. Staff was either not present or were completely inattentive. Incredibly overpriced for the experience. My kids were visibly disappointed, and broke my hearts when soldiered up and were grateful and didn't complain.
