Exceeds Expectations!!! - This hike far surpassed my expectations. I never knew I enjoyed history so much! I think experiencing the places while we learned and discuss really made this come to life for me. I really appreciated the social justice information and discussion gained through the hike. Such important information was shared/discussed while connecting to the Kansas City icons, streets, and neighborhoods! Lisa not only gave us information, but she connected us to each other and truly wanted to hear our thoughts and questions. If she didn't know the answer, she found out for us. Lisa is making a difference in our city through education, and empowerment. The pace of the hike was perfect! It included just the right balance of walking and sightseeing/discussion. This is a must-do!
