This morning, we’ll tour Bahawalpur to uncover its historical and cultural highlights related to the local Nawabs, as well as visit modern local markets. Afterward, we’ll head to Multan, situated on the banks of the Chenab River. Known as the City of the Sufis or the City of the Saints, Multan is home to numerous Sufi shrines. Today, we’ll visit the shrines of Shah Rukn-i-Alam, Bhahuddin Zikria, and Shams Tabraz, and spend some time exploring the Old Bazaar.

Harappa - MULTAN – LAHORE
Our journey continues from Multan to Lahore, the capital of Punjab and the largest Punjabi city in the world. En route, we’ll stop at the famous archaeological site of Harappa, where we’ll explore the remains of a Bronze Age fortified city dating back to 2600BC. In the afternoon, we’ll proceed to the colonial city of Lahore, where we’ll stay for the next two nights. In the evening, we’ll visit Lahore’s food street and the famous Anarkali Bazaar.

Lahore Fort - LAHORE
Once the historic capital of both the Moghul and Sikh empires, Lahore also played a significant role in British governance of Punjab. Our two-day tour includes visits to the Lahore Museum, the Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, and several local shrines and mosques. We’ll also explore the old town and head east to the Wagah Border to witness the dramatic flag-lowering ceremony.
Lahore to Islamabad
Rohtas Fort - LAHORE -ISLAMABAD –RAWALPINDI
After breakfast, we’ll travel to Islamabad via the Grand Trunk Road or Motorway, stopping to visit the 16th-century Rohtas Fort, built by Farid Khan, later known as Sher Shah Suri, the king of Afghanistan. We’ll then visit the stunning Faisal Mosque, with its fabulous views of the Himalayas and Margalla Hills. Our tour continues with a visit to a 400-year-old Hindu temple and the Art Gallery of Islamabad in Saidpur village, the Pakistan Monument, and the Heritage Museum, which showcases the culture of Pakistan’s four provinces, including Gilgit-Baltistan. We’ll also visit the bustling twin city of Rawalpindi. Overnight stay in Islamabad.
