Book This Tour! - Book This Tour! An unforgettable, life changing trip! I am blown away how many incredible things I saw and experienced and how many amazing and kind people I met over two days. Mount Nemrut, Gobekli Tepe, Urfa, and Harran blew my expectations and then some. If you are a lover of history and culture, forget Cappadocia and come here! This tour was worth every penny and will make you feel like true adventurer. Dream Team The agency, my guide, Hussain, and our driver, Ibrahim, were phenomenal and went above and beyond to make my trip seamless and continuously enjoyable and deeply enriching. You will learn about history, culture, flora (identifying cedars of Lebanon for example), fauna, and everything in between. As a busy professional, I could not have asked for a more structured and well paced tour—with rest periods, refreshments, and delicious meals all built in. Best of all, your tour team is so embedded in the local community that you will be treated like a local by extension—prices included! You go from being a classless tourist to a welcome guest everywhere you go. Safety Coming solo from the US, I was at first a bit apprehensive about taking a trip down to Southeastern Anatolia/Upper Mesopotamia——an area that I have always wanted to visit but at the same time seemed daunting, particularly after the major earthquake in the region last year. Happy to report however my apprehensions were unfounded and that I felt safe, secure, and content everywhere I traveled in this part of Turkey. The people of this region are gracious and kind and my tour team really brought this vast and beautiful hidden gem of a region to life for me. You Need a Guide On a closing note, unless you are from this region and speak the local languages (Kurdish and Turkish), you will absolutely need a guide for visiting Southeastern Anatolia/Upper Mesopotamia. I thought about making a trip without a guide but that would have been a big mistake and I would have missed out on so much and caused myself unnecessary headaches trying to figure out logistics.

Nature and ancient worlds at its best! - I had an amazing 2 days in eastern turkey. Such a beautiful part of the world. With mountains, lush green hills, rivers, what was desert before is now abundant with green lush lands. Oldest known site Gobekli Tepe had amazing energy, as did Abraham's cave. Sanliurfa was magical. Just wish I had more time to really absorb. Everything. So much to see in 2 days...will have to go back. Amazing tour guide and driver 😊
