• Jagasatru Waterfall - Before ascending to the Jagasatru Waterfall at the hilltop, a team member will be on standby with snacks, fruits, and water to refresh you before the trek. Interestingly, this hill is also home to the giant Brahma statue on the island’s east side. Brahma is one of the three Hindu Gods believed to maintain the island’s balance, alongside Wisnu in GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana) in the south and Shiva in Tabanan in the west.

Upon reaching the waterfall’s base, enjoy a refreshing dip in the cool pool and savor a cup of tea before resuming the hike. Before descending to the Jagasatru Waterfall, a team member will be ready at the hilltop to replenish you with snacks, fruits, and water.

• Manggis - Continue the journey through the jungle to the third stop of the excursion. Here, locals produce Arak, an alcoholic beverage made from palm trees. Established in 1972, the third-generation owner of the palm wine factory will guide you through the traditional distillation process using bamboo and a firewood-fueled stove to create a potent spirit with 50% alcohol content.

• Kaura Bali - After unwinding at the waterfall, return to Kaura to conclude the trip with lunch at Kaura Restaurant and begin the selected activity.

Explore the hidden trails of Manggis on this challenging, but rewarding walk to Jagasatru Waterfall and to the top of the range of mountains that the eco-retreat of Kaura Bali sits on. After a 2.5 hour hike to the falls, we walk through lush forest and pass by houses where bantam chickens forage and children play.
