- Konya Tropical Butterfly Garden - Opened in 2015, Konya Tropical Butterfly Garden is Turkey’s first butterfly garden and boasts the largest butterfly flight area in Europe. The garden spans 7,200 m2, with a 3,500 m2 area dedicated to the Butterfly Flight Area and Insect Museum. The structure was built using 630 tons of steel and a glass curtain wall system made up of 1,730 uniquely sized glass pieces. Special PVB material on the windows helps butterflies navigate using sunlight, allowing maximum UV ray penetration. Designed in the shape of a butterfly, the garden aims to foster a love for nature and animals, especially among children. The environment is maintained at 28°C with 80% humidity.
- Sille - Sille has been continuously inhabited since the Phrygian era and has been a significant settlement in Konya since the Byzantine period. It was one of the early centers of Christianity and a key stop on the pilgrimage route between Istanbul and Jerusalem. In 327, Helena, mother of Byzantine Emperor Constantine, visited Konya on her pilgrimage to Jerusalem and was moved by the early Christians’ devotion. She commissioned a temple in Sille. The village also features museums, mosques, a dam lake, and a historic bathhouse.
- Meram Baglari - Created by Meram Municipality, this center allows visitors to experience the renowned Meram vineyards. A café on-site offers local delicacies like “saç böreği” paired with tea.
- Seyh Tavusbaba Turbesi ve Camii - This site includes the tomb of an Indian dervish contemporary to Mevlana, a historic mosque, and a scenic area by the stream, considered the most beautiful summer spot in Meram. Visitors can enjoy the fresh air of Meram.
- Ates Baz-i Veli Turbesi - The tomb of Ateşbaz-ı Veli, the head cook of the Mevlana Lodge known for his mastery over fire. Prayers here are believed to enhance the abundance of meals.
- Meram - We offer a historical journey through our museum, a key part of Meram’s cultural and natural heritage. Visitors can learn about and experience local culture through ethnographic displays and animations, providing a nostalgic trip. This initiative aims to preserve and pass on Meram’s values to future generations.
