Great excursion - The trip was great. From Booking Referral to Transfer everything worked out fine. Kiki, our tour guide, has made us very familiar with the island and the volcano and explained a lot. She kept putting a smile on our faces. Thank you for that.

Must do trip! Very good - Excellent trip, boat departed on time and there was plenty of space (mid September). The additional £8 for the coach to the volcano is well worth it, slightly scary road on the island but the driver was brilliant, we really appreciated this! We were only expecting the coach trip but there was also a tour guide on the coach who made the short road journey very enjoyable. Brief stop at a small village on the way, we visited the volcano museum which was worth the £4 entry fee, was very interesting. About 45 mins at the actual volcano crater site, best to have some proper shoes trainers or good sandals rather than flip flops! For anyone with mobility problems there is a good viewing platform and cafe at the top so you aren’t left out. Coach trip back to the port area and then we had a good couple of hours free to browse the various shops, and had something to eat before getting back on the boat. Weather was windy so a few big waves, sit in the middle of the boat if you don’t like the motion of the ocean!

Beautiful village - Vulcano bit of a let down ,the village was so beautiful had a fantastic lunch by the sea couldn’t fault the quality or service ,the boat ride from kos was good going but coming back the waves nearly turned the boat over was very scary and unsafe ,if you do this trip use your reps to book the boat it would be in much better condition

Nice trip from Kos island - Nice trip to see Nisyros highlights. Enjoyed visiting volcano the most. Nice coastal village of Mandraki with labyrinth of the streets.

Well worth the effort to see. - Great day out. Takes an hour to get there. You get free time in the town to explore and then go up the hill to the crater in the coach. It can be done the other way around it depends how busy things are. You get about 1 hour to explore the crater which is just about enough time. You need to be physically able with good footwear if you want to walk down to the floor of the volcano. Otherwise view it from the top. The boats leave at 15:30 hrs and you can get refreshments on board. Well worth the effort, choose a day when is cooler as lots of walking required.

Not good if you have mobility problems - Although the trip was good, and the boat not over crowded. My husband and myself are not very mobile and not once were we told that there would be lots of walking., We booked in person so the place where we booked the trip from could see we were using walking sticks. The volcano part of the trip was disappointing as we couldn’t get into the crater in the time given our our mobility problems. So just looked from above. The traditional village was hilly so we didn’t bother. Then we went to the town to eat but the rep didn’t wait for us. We would not have booked the trip if we had known about the walking
