Chobe National Park is Botswana’s first national park, and also the most biologically diverse. Located in the north of the country, it is Botswana’s third largest park and has one of the greatest concentrations of game in all of Africa. This park is noted for having a huge population of elephants as well as lions, leopards, buffalos, impalas, giraffes, zebras, baboons etc.

Day excursions to Chobe are a favourite amongst tourists and guests. The Chobe National Park, located in one of Botswana’s most untouched locales, provides an extraordinary sight of the Chobe River and the floodplains. The distinguishing feature of Chobe is its floodplains, which provide year-round grazing for numerous antelopes. It serves as a habitat for a large number of herbivorous creatures. While the remainder of the Chobe park becomes arid at the year’s end, the Chobe floodplains remain verdant and lush.

This area is home to a significant number of antelopes and buffalo. Lion prides, tracking these animals, have territories established within the Chobe Park. The design of the Chobe park allows for superior river drives and views of the floodplain.
