Karakul Lake - The journey begins in Kashgar, traveling along the China-Pakistan Friendship Highway, also known as the Karakoram Highway. After approximately 50 kilometers, there is a stop at Upal Village for a brief shopping experience and to immerse in village life.

The journey continues to White Sand Lake (Baisha Lake), where the water is crystal clear and blue, contrasting beautifully with the snow-white sand dunes, creating a stunning landscape. Visitors can stroll along the lakeside, enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains, and capture memorable photographs.

The next destination is Karakul Lake, situated 3600 meters above sea level. This lake is nestled at the base of the renowned Muztagh Ata (7546m) and Gongur (7719m) mountains. ‘Muztagh Ata’ translates to Father of the Ice Mountain and is celebrated as one of the most beautiful and enigmatic mountains globally.

Visitors can relax by the lake, marvel at the spectacular reflections of Muztagh Ata and the nine peaks of the Kongur Mountains.
