Karakul Lake - The journey begins in Kashgar, traveling along the China-Pakistan Friendship Highway, also known as the Karakoram Highway. After approximately 50 kilometers, there is a stop at Upal Village for a brief shopping experience and to enjoy village life.
Continue the drive to White Sand Lake (Baisha Lake), where the water is clear and blue, contrasting beautifully with the snow-white sand dunes, creating a unique landscape. Stroll along the lakeside, take in the stunning views of the lake and mountains, and capture some memorable photos.
Proceed to Karakul Lake, situated 3600 meters above sea level. This lake is nestled at the base of the renowned Muztagh Ata (7546m) and Gongur (7719m) mountains. ‘Muztagh Ata’ translates to Father of the Ice Mountain and is considered one of the most beautiful and enigmatic mountains globally.
Relax by the lake and admire the breathtaking reflections of Muztagh Ata and the nine peaks of the Kongur Mountains.

Tashkurgan Fort - Upon arrival in Tashkorgan, there is an opportunity to explore the town’s ancient Stone Fort, which has stood for 2200 years. ‘Tashkurgan’ translates to ‘Stone Fort.’ Later, enjoy a hike on the grassland adjacent to the Stone Fort.
