Unforgettable Mardi Himal Trek - I had an unforgettable experience on my first solo trip to Nepal, completing the 5-day Mardi Himal trek. I’m incredibly grateful to Robin and Sobit for making this journey so special. From the moment I arrived, Robin gave me a warm welcome and took care of all the logistics. He even went out of his way to help me rebook my domestic flight after I made an error with my booking, which was a huge relief.
My guide, Sobit, was exceptional throughout the trek. He ensured that I was well looked after, managing all the hotel bookings, meals, and drinks. He explained the route clearly and was always encouraging. When I struggled towards the end, Sobit was incredibly supportive, offering a helping hand and doing everything he could to make sure I completed the trek.
The whole trek was perfectly organized, with a jeep and hotel arranged last-minute for the 4th night, just as I requested to finish the trek a day earlier. Sobit also took amazing photos of me along the way, capturing memories I’ll cherish forever.
Both Robin and Sobit are friendly, professional, and truly care about their guests. I would definitely choose them again for any future treks in Nepal!

Outstanding MBC trek - When it came to choosing a trekking company, I had many options. However, I began communicating with Everest Trekking Routes Pte Ltd via Rabin Gurung, initially to inquire about the trip and discuss possible customizations to the standard itinerary. To my surprise, Rabin was prompt, accommodating, patience, and thoroughly responsive. This back-and-forth continued over the span of two to three months, and his persistence and consistency left a strong impression. Meeting him in Kathmandu confirmed my confidence; he is genuinely committed, caring and responsible.
Upon our arrival in Pokhara, we were introduced to my guide, Phul Gurung, whose professionalism and respect for client comfort and safety were evident from the start. Phul speaks good English, and we connected easily. He maintained a perfect balance, giving us space while always being attentive to our needs—a true testament to his understanding of client care. I would choose him again as my guide without hesitation, which speaks volumes about the trust he inspires. Our porter, Hau Re, did not speak English, but thanks to Phul and Jenisha, a young trainee guide who joined us, language was never a barrier. Hau Re’s strength and fitness were invaluable, especially when my son experienced discomfort at the 4500m basecamp. At Phul’s direction, Hau Re shouldered him back to the rest camp, a gesture for which I am deeply grateful, as I couldn’t imagine my son managing the additional two-hour descent.
The 9-days trek to Machapuchare Base Camp (MBC) plus Poon Hill was breathtaking, with each day offering incredible highlights from Kande to MBC and back to Jhinu, Nayapul, and finally, Pokhara. Phul’s knowledge of the terrain, distances, lodges, and scenic viewpoints enriched the experience, bringing out the majesty of the landscape in ways I could never have anticipated. Though challenging, our journey was filled with unforgettable moments and stunning vistas that will stay with us forever. The camaraderie with our guide, porter, and young trainee guide made the trek not only safe but also exceptionally warm and memorable.
For other travelers, it’s worth noting a few points to enhance the experience. First, transportation is arranged separately by the trekking company with the service providers, as the company does not own its own vehicles—something to consider in terms of timing and coordination. Additionally, the quality of lodges varies in the mountains, so it helps to set personal expectations. We specifically requested certain lodge standards for some nights and were delighted by the accommodations provided. One lodge that stood out was the Himal Pani Guest House, an unexpected gem nestled in a remote, secluded spot. The family running this lodge made us feel completely at home, offering a warm and restful sanctuary.
This brings me back to Phul’s attentiveness; he truly understood our preferences and found ways to turn our spontaneous ideas into reality. My sincere gratitude goes to the entire team for making the MBC trek such a remarkable adventure. It was more than just a journey; it was a genuinely enriching experience.

An unforgettable and tough journey to the Viewpoint especially for our age ranges from 50s to 60s. - My guide Phul is very experience and caring. He makes an effort to ask his porters to accompany my friends who are 1st timer to Viewpoint. We had a great time with them especially Milan, Sancha and Samu.
I had been in Nepal 3 times and always choose Rabin and his entourage. They are responsible and awesome.

Mardi Himal Trek - This is my first time experience trekking in Nepal, so we choosed the most easy trek, Mardi Himal. I was really lucky to be accompanied by the experienced Guides. Can feel their calm & happiness in the forest. They plugged forest Vegetable to add-on for our lunch too! 🤗Helped us to take pictures of us when we are busy catching our breath. 😆 the weather was so nice in October, wind was cooling, we need not wear thick clothes to trek.😅 Although the meals take some time to serve, but the food were really nice. We had pancakes, chapati, curry chicken and, of course, their Dal Bhat! 🤤 The majestic of Machhapuchhare & Annapurna South can only be felt personally when we reached the View Point at 4200m.😍 The feeling was totally different from pictures.🫰

My wonderful first time trekking - My family and I have just achieved our first time trekking through Mardi Himal route in 17-21 May 2024 with Everest Trekking Routes Ltd. Before trekking I did some Google searches and their website just popped up and impressed me with all detailed information, clearly described everything I needed. Once I contacted them, I got speedy responses to all my questions and special requests on tourist bus booking. So, impressive...
During trekking, we have Sandesh as our guide. He is a nice and cheerful young guy. We looked at him like our son as he has about same age as our son and he called us uncle and aunty, we are like family. He took very good care of us in every details. He mostly walked ahead of us but always stopped and waited for us when reached at juction to make sure we would not go to the wrong way while giving private space and time for us to enjoy photo and vdo taking. He well aware of our first time trekking, so no rush or no pressure from him, made us felt comfortable. We are a group of three but he did not try to compose us in the same bedroom but let us select whether we could go with one or two rooms. He and our porter (Mr. Sanzy) built a fun atmosphere with their music and dance at the night camps. This is so fun. Even we trekked at beginning of raining season, but we could capture a beautiful clear view when we reached the view point. The last day he did reschedule a bit to make sure we could get a car back to Pokhara on time, good adjustment.
After trekking, we also spent a few days in Kathmandu for sightseeing and the company also provided complimentary airport pick up and delivery for us. This is so nice and impressive.
In overall, I'm very happy to select Everest trekking routes Ltd. for our trekking and THANK all of them to make our trip so wonderful and will be in our beautiful memory forever...

Absolutely Outstanding Tour Company! - I don’t usually write review, but I have to make an exception for this tour experience managed by Everest Trekking Routes PVT. LTD.
Firstly, the guide is incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining and passionate about what he does. The itineraries are well planned.
From start to finish, it was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. This company goes above and beyond to deliver an unforgettable and enjoyable journey. During the trip, I sprained my ankle, and the guide carried my backpack and kept making sure that I was okay finishing the rest of my trip. Certainly, they have my highest recommendation for creating truly enriching and authentic adventures. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

Mardi Himal - April 2024 - This trek was a first for us and everything we hoped it would be. The hike itself is strenuous but doable for most, most days were finished by early afternoon which allowed time to relax and rest a little. The Rhododendrons were in full bloom as we got higher which made for a magical view. We woke at 4am on the 4th day to make it to the summit for sunrise, it was awe inspiring, we couldn’t have done it without the encouragement of our guide and porter too, if you have the time and resources, this is an incredible trip. Bring a sleeping bag as nights are frozen and wet toilet tissue will be your friend. Som and Bipin worked tirelessly to make sure we had a safe and adventurous time, we will certainly be back again.
