Great tour but a few helpful things to know before you go - This was an overall fantastic tour, especially if you’re looking to experience a little bit of everything Olympia has to offer. However, we were surprised by the appearance of the Olympic stadium…it wasn’t quite what we expected, so I’d recommend researching it ahead of time to manage expectations. While we enjoyed the tour, if we return to Athens, we likely wouldn’t revisit the stadium. One of the highlights of the tour was a visit to a small, family-owned winery, which was absolutely wonderful. The delicious wine was accompanied by an incredible charcuterie board spread and breathtaking views. Our tour guide, Katerina, was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and kind throughout the day. It’s worth noting that the company had to pay in advance to reserve our spot at the winery, and we were caught off guard by this. We ended up giving a majority of our euros to cover the reservation, leaving us with limited options to tip Katerina, even though she truly deserved it. She was incredibly gracious about the situation, but it’s important to bring extra cash for any unexpected expenses, especially if reservations need to be made. This can vary depending on how many cruise ships are in port that day, so it’s something to keep in mind. We also made a final stop at a beautiful beach, which was peaceful and not overcrowded. The views were stunning, and our driver made sure we were safe and comfortable throughout the journey. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you’re prepared for what to expect at the Olympic stadium and bring a little extra cash for any surprises along the way.

Fantastic private tour! - It was one of our most favorite private tours that we took on our 2 week journey. Niki was such a delight as a tour guide. It felt like traveling with a friend. The olympic sites were impressive but we had our most fun at the winery. The family is welcoming, the food is lovingly homemade and the wine is delicious. We loved every single minute! Don't miss this one!

Great day! - We had an amazing experience. Our driver was personable, gave great advice and tended to our very need. Highly recommend. The winery/ olive oil farm was quaint, the beach was beautiful and the ruins were not too crowded.

Highlight of our trip - Our driver Niko took us to the museum entrance of Olympia and waited us for there. He picked up our tickets in advance to save us time. From there we went to a small family winery that big on hospitality. We sampled a white, rose and red wines accompanied by 2 platters of food and finished with the most delicious cinnamon wine. When he dropped us back at our ship, Niko presented us each with a souvenir from Olympia. Highly recommend.

An excellent experience and high end personal touches - We had a magnificent day touring the Olympia sites, which are amazing, and the winery is a must stop, what made it so special is the highly personal touch that Charis brought to the tour. His selection of our stops was excellent, and I couldn’t give them a higher recommendation. If you’re coming to Olympia, you have to take this tour.

Wonderful Winery - Olympia was one of our cruise stops. Pickup from cruise port was good. Our favorite part of this tour was the visit to the Kostas winery and farm. The family is warm, the wine and food were fabulous and we were able to bring some wine back. *Details should clarify you need Cash to pay for winery visit. Olympia itself was ok, not so much to see. We enjoyed the museum more than the ruins. We had to navigate with a book and ruins are quite diminished compared to other historic sites we have visited. Niki was a very knowledgeable guide and we enjoyed our conversations with her. Petro was our driver and he did a great job given there was quite a bit of driving for the 2 stops. The van was very comfortable.
