A wonderful experience - Andreas is a multi generation local who knows and loves his region. He took us to several hidden gems as well as a marvelous olive oil processing facility that was excellent. As a very experienced world traveler I can assure you will be well cared for.

An amazing experience! - We did this private half day tour with Christo and were able to customize part of our time after seeing the ruins. We went Kilo’s honey farm and to an olive oil mill and had tastings at both. Christo was full of information and stories of his family and the local culture. It was an amazing day!

Great way to experience Olympia - Olympia was a last minute port change on our cruise so we followed the great reviews and booked the half day tour. Wow. What a great experience! Nancy our guide was simply amazing, getting us to the popular sites before the crowds and providing us with lots of local information on the way. The archeological site and museum were fascinating, but the visit to Kilo Honey Farm was the highlight of the day. A local family run business which provides and interesting, peaceful and informative tour. Definitely a must do. We rounded out with a visit to the Olive Oil factory (the oils and products are lovely) before a safe trip back to port for some souvenir shopping. A perfect tour!

10 out of 10 - Andreas Stamos was EXCELLENT! He provided a great experience. We went to Olympus to see the museum and the archaeological site, followed by an hour of shopping downtown. He then recommended the monastery. WOW is all I can say. Please include this in your tour if you have time. The views are amazing and if you want to go down the stairs to the chapel, you are in for a treat. This was a 10/10 tour for sure.

Great visit to Ancient Olympia - We had a brilliant time with Andreas, who we booked for a private tour with as we visited Katakolon as part of a cruise stop on our trip - we had a set time that we were in port and we wanted to visit ancient Olympia and a few other local places.
Andreas was wonderful in accommodating us, there were 6 adults and 2 children who required car seats. The car seats provided were immaculate and very sturdy so it was extremely reassuring for us.
Andreas communicated with us well in the lead up and tracked our boat so he was waiting for us as soon as we arrived, our first stop was Ancient Olympia, which we got to in about 25 minutes and he gave us the history of the area on the way, he also ensured we got to the place before the coaches from our cruise ship created queues and helped us to buy our tickets. He advised it was best to do the museum first whilst it was quiet and then visit the sites. Andreas lent us a great guide book and left us to explore in our own time which was brilliant. He also had a cooler box full of ice cold water which was very welcomed on a hot day. Following this Andreas took us to Klio’s honey farm, who he had called before hand in preparation of us arriving - Klio had everything prepared for our arrival and Andreas allowed us as much time as we wanted on the honey farm, he also made the most fabulous recommendation for lunch and dropped us off at the door to account for having strollers for the children. We wanted to visit a Olive Oil farm, where he also pre-called to have everything ready when we got there and we enjoyed tasting the olive oil - enroute Andreas also gave us a brief history of how the Kalamata olives are used. We wanted to finish off the day at the beach so he dropped us off and even offered to take the people not going to the beach straight to the boat. He was very kind, informative and patient and everything you could need in a guide. Cannot recommend Andreas enough! Thank you for the lovely day.
