An Enjoyable October Day Filled with Ancient History - My wife and I had a private tour from the cruise port that brought us to this historical site where the first Ancient Olympic Games were conducted in 776 BC. Our amazing driver Andreas was able to drop us off right at the entry point into the ruins saving us from the 1/4 mile walk from the parking lot. After walking through this historical site our driver returned to pick us up at the entrance, saving us from that dreaded walk. After which he gave us a tour of the area and an interesting tour of the Oilympian Koufias Olive Oil Mill where we purchased some of their various types of oil to bring home. Upon completion of our half day with Andreas at our request he dropped us off in Katakolon village where we found a great little restaurant for lunch along the water. Andreas spoke English, provided us with water and was informative making for an enjoyable day.

Got the most out of our day thanks to Dimitris - Born and raised near Katakolon, Dimitris was the perfect guide and driver for my daughter and me. On our list was Olympia and a beach, but we saw much more thanks to his knowledge of the area. Aside from Olympia, we toured a small family-owned olive oil factory, an amphitheater where they have local concerts and productions, the longest sandy beach in all of Greece, his home town Pyrgos, and to a lookout at the top of a hill for spectacular views. Dimitris was a safe driver, very courteous and wanted to go the extra mile to ensure we got the most of our day in Katakolon. Would highly recommend!

Great 1/2 day tour for cruisers! - Great little tour if your on a cruise. Got to spend plenty of time at Olympia, snack and beers after, then off for an olive oil tasting and capped off with late lunch on the coast.

Great experience and memories of Olympia! - Dimitris was our driver and provided our group of four a personal tour of Olympia. He drove us to the Museum of Olympia where we spent 2 hours. We bypassed the lines outside the museum. From there he took us to an olive oil farm and then to a beautiful private resort and beach. This was an amazing experience and I highly recommend Dimitris. He is excellent! Such a beautiful day in Olympia.

Excellent! Request Andreas! - We had a wonderful time in Olympia with Andreas as our private driver. He was courteous, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. His car was immaculate and we found him to be a safe driver. We requested he take us to ancient Olympia first. He had us there right on time to meet our separately scheduled private guide. He didn’t rush us and let us tour there on our own schedule. Afterward, he inquired about our interests and took us to the Oilympian Koufias Olive Oil Mill and then Klio’s Honey Farm. Both were lovely visits. Finally, we requested he drop us to lunch at a non-fancy restaurant favored by the locals for its delicious Greek food. And boy, did he deliver! And to top it off, he put up with the wacky personalities of my husband and his twin brother! I can’t recommend Andreas enough.
