Kathmandu - Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted by our friendly representative who will assist with your transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After checking in and taking a brief rest, we’ll introduce you to the Thamel market, where you can have supper, exchange currency, shop at the supermarket, or purchase trekking gear. Later, we’ll take you to our office for a trip briefing. You’ll spend the night at your hotel. Any delays will push the scheduled activities to the next day as feasible.
Kathmandu Sightseeing - 4 hrs tour:
Kathmandu Valley - Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. The sightseeing tour includes visits to two significant sites: Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most renowned Hindu temples in South Asia, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. The Bagmati River beside the temple is spiritually significant for Hindus, where cremations take place. The temple is especially prominent during Shivaratri, Shiva’s birthday, attracting thousands of pilgrims. Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in Nepal, is located east of Kathmandu and is culturally rich with Tibetan and Sherpa influences. After the city tour, return to the hotel to prepare for the trek.
Drive Kathmandu – Pokhara(900m/2952ft_ | Drive 7 hrs.
Pokhara Lakeside - After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll embark on an early morning drive to Pokhara. The journey is long and adventurous, taking you through a winding mountain highway. Upon arrival in Pokhara, spend the rest of the day exploring the lakeside and its surroundings.
Drive to Galeshwor, and Trek to Bas Kharaka (1525m/5003ft) | 4 hrs drive and 3 hrs walk.
Kali Gandaki River - After breakfast, drive to Galeshwor via a winding mountain highway, which takes about four hours. The drive follows the Kaligandaki River, offering views of hills and small roadside houses and shops. Upon reaching Galeshwor, prepare for a three-hour walk to the village of Bas Kharka. The trek begins with a suspension bridge crossing over the Kali Gandaki River. Along the way, you’ll experience village life, agricultural fields, and farms. Dinner will be at the eco-community lodge, and you’ll stay overnight at a homestay.
Trek to Nangi (2300m/7545ft) | 6 hrs walking.
Annapurna Region - After breakfast at the community lodge, continue your trek to Nangi. The trail passes through picturesque villages, offering stunning mountain views and impressive landscapes. The village is inhabited by the Magar people, one of Nepal’s largest ethnic communities with a unique language and culture. In the afternoon, explore organic farms and a local school.
Trek to Mohare Danda (3300m /10826ft) | 7 hrs walking.
Annapurna Mountain Range - Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before heading towards Mohare Danda, the final destination of the trek. The scenic trail through the forest offers breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks, including Machapuchre, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri. This location is renowned for its sunrise and sunset views. Today is the most challenging day of the trek, with an elevation gain of nearly one thousand meters.
Trek to Deurali (3020m/9908ft) | 5 hrs walking.
Annapurna Region - Witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, including Machapuchre, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna. After breakfast at the lodge, trek to Deurali. The trail passes through Gorepani, a popular trekking destination in the Annapurna region known for its sunrise views from Poon Hill. Gorepani is the busiest town in the region.
Trek to Ghandruk village (1940m/6364ft) | walking duration 5 hrs.
Ghandruk - After breakfast, trek to Ghandruk village. The trail continues through a beautiful forest, taking about five hours to reach Ghandruk, a renowned village offering spectacular views of Annapurna South and Himchuli. Enjoy the Gurung museum and culture.
Trek to Syauli Bazar (1010 m/3313ft) ) and Drive to Pokhara(900m/2952ft)/ 2 hrs walk and 2.5 hrs drive:
Pokhara Exploration and fly Kathmandu | 4 hrs exploration and 25 mins flight.
Pokhara - After breakfast, explore the beautiful city of Pokhara. Visit Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwar Cave, and the International Mountain Museum, which provides extensive information on mountaineering expeditions and the Himalayan peaks. After sightseeing, return to the hotel for lunch. Later, transfer to Pokhara Airport for a scenic flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will transfer you to your hotel.
Cultural Tour of Kathmandu City / 4 hrs.
Kathmandu Valley - After breakfast, embark on a tour of the intriguing city of Kathmandu. This historical, cultural, and spiritual city reveals its social and historical secrets to visitors. Walk through the narrow lanes of ancient Kathmandu, including the markets of Ason, the Glass Beads Market at Indrachowk, the oldest supermarket at New Road, Kilagal, and hidden stupas within family courtyards. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the administrative center of the Malla Kings (14th to 18th century) and the Shah Kings who ruled Nepal from 1768 to 2008. A unique experience in the square is visiting the temple of the living goddess “Kumari.” After the tour, return to your hotel. If staying in Thamel, you can explore this bustling tourist market and enjoy shopping.
