Kathmandu to Lukla by domestic flight and trek to Phakding (2600M)
Flights to Lukla - Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu airport and reach to the gateway to Everest, Lukla
Phakding - After the flight to Lukla, you will trek to Phakding the same day.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3535 m)
Namche Bazaar - Early morning after breakfast, we start our journey through a pine forest and walk alongside the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. We ascend on a steep trail and reach Namche Bazaar (5-6 hours) which is probably the biggest town in the Everest region.
Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar - To avoid the altitude sickness, we need to acclimatization in Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is the most beautiful and primary town of the Everest region. The place is occupied with the colorful market with ATMs, government office, shops, restaurants and so on.
Trek to Tengboche (3850 m)
Tengboche - From here we ascend towards Tengboche village which houses the very famous Tengboche monastery which is the biggest monastery of the Everest region (5-6 hours).
Trek to Dingboche (4350 m)
Dingboche - Our trail descends and passes through lush forests of birch, confer and rhododendron trees. While trekking we can admire good views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. We continue our walk to the Imja Valley and Lobuche River before ascending to Dingboche (5-6 hours).
Acclimatization in Dingboche
Dingboche - Spending a day in Dingboche will help us to acclimate to the high altitude. We can also admire the picturesque Imja Khola Valley and the beautiful Dingboche village.
Trek to Lobuche
Lobuche - We ascend to the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. As the trail drops to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, we find ourselves facing several great peaks including Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal (5-6 hours)
Trek to Gorakshep (5160M)
Gorakshep - hike about 2-3 hour to base camp and trek back to Gorakshep.
Hike to Kalapathar (5545 m
Kala Patthar - Early morning hike to Kalapathar and trek back to Pheriche
Trek down to Tengboche
Tengboche - Trek back to Tengboche
Trek down Namche
Namche Bazaar - Trek back to Namche Bazaar
Trek down to Lukla
Lukla - Trek back to Lukla
Fly back to Kathmandu on Domestic Flight and End of trip
Kathmandu - In the morning, fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla by flight. And end of the trip.
