Kathmandu UNESCO Sightseeing
Kathmandu Durbar Square - It’s a 16th Century Royal Palace mainly built by Pratap Singha Malla. It’s in the heart of Kathmandu Valley. The main attraction of this palace is Kumari (The living goddess). The historical palace gives you the ideas of ancient Nepal. There are many temples around the Palace. These temples are carved with beautiful sculptures of Hindu gods and goddesses.
Swayambhunath Temple - Swayambhunath is a 5th Century ancient Stupa which is also known as Monkey Temple. This sacred pilgrimage place is situated atop a hill in the west of Kathmandu Valley which is Considered holy to Buddhists, Tibetan, and Hindus.
Pashupatinath Temple - It is a 1st century Temple mainly dedicated to Hindu Lord Shiva. It is one of the important shrines of Hindus. Many pilgrims from India come here to pay homage. Saturday is known as the day of Shiva, on that day every woman does fasting in the name of their husband and Visit the Shiva Temple. Every Saturday you will see a large crowd of women in red or green clothes standing for prayers for her husband’s good health and life in Pashupatinath Temple. Shivaratri is the main festival of Pashupatinath. A large number of saints from India come on that day. The Pashupatinath community takes care of them by providing food and shelter. You will experience open cremation on the bank of the holy river Bagmati following Hindu rituals. There are many holy men and priests (palm readers) found in the Pashupatinath corridors. It’s interesting to know and see the activities of religious people in the Hindu Temple.
Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan 175 Kms/ 5-6 Hours
Chitwan National Park - After breakfast, drive 5-6 hours to Chitwan. The drive will pass through the beautiful hills of Nagdhunga and the Trishuli River. After reaching Chitwan you will get refresh and take some rest, In evening Village walk nearby your Hotel.
Chitwan (Jungle activities)
Chitwan National Park - Wake up in the morning and go for a canoe ride in the Rapti river with the local nature guide. Enjoy the ride with the sound of wild birds and animals. The canoe ride will be for one hour. After coming back have breakfast and take some rest.
In the afternoon you will go for 4 hours Jeep Safari in the jungle. Chitwan National Park is famous for the one-horned Asian rhino. It can be seen in the deep forest as well as other birds and animals are seen. Come back Hotel from the safari and take some rest. In the evening, cultural dance is shown at dinner.
Drive from Chitwan to Pokhara 145 Kms/ 3 Hours
Pokhara Lakeside - In the morning have your breakfast and drive 3 hours to pokhara. After reaching Pokhara you will rest for few hours. In the evening Lakeside walk.
Sightseeing of Pokhara
Pokhara Lakeside - Early Morning wake up around 4 am and drive to Sarangkot to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the Mountains range including Annapurna and Fishtail Mountain. The golden lights in the mountains and Foggy Pokhara city below are a heavenly magnificent view. After a beautiful sunrise, you will drive back to your hotel. After Breakfast, you will visit Peace Stupa on the hill and you will hike down in the lake and do boating and enjoy the refreshing view of the lakeside.
