Alpine Club of Himalaya | Everest Base Camp Trek Nepal - DAY 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
You will be welcomed by an amazing view of The Himalayas as you approach Kathmandu. At the airport, you will be welcomed by a representative of Alpine Club of Himalaya. In the evening, you will be served excellent authentic Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country’s food and culture. Stay overnight in Kathmandu. Meals- Welcome Dinner
DAY 02 : Fly to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft) 30 minute flight, trek to Ghandruk (1940m/6360 ft): 5 – 6 hours trek
DAY 03: Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170m/7120ft): 5 – 6 hours
DAY 04: Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m/7578ft): 4 – 5 hours
DAY 05 : Bamboo to Deurali (3230m/10,595ft): 3 – 4 hours
DAY 06 : Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,545ft) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m/12135ft): 5 – 6 hours
DAY 07: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 – 8 hours
DAY 08: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m/5770 ft): 5 – 6 hours
DAY 09 : Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara: 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive
DAY 10: Fly to Kathmandu
DAY 11: Final Departure: Home Sweet Home

Our adventure takes us across tumbling waterfalls, charming hamlets, stepped agricultural lands, dense rhododendron woods, and breathtaking mountain landscapes ending at the foot of the formidable Annapurna.
Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and Spring (March to May) offer the optimal climate for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The weather is typically clear and balmy providing exceptional views. Those seeking solitude and quality time with the wilderness might consider embarking on this journey during winter (Dec., Jan. and Feb.), though the temperatures can be severe. Alternatively, Summer or the rainy season (June to Aug.) may be less ideal due to precipitation.

Annapurna Base Camp trekking - My first experience trekking in himalaya it was with Alpine. Really excelent services during the trekking, porters and guide are
friendly , informative and very helpfull. A very good team shown by Alpine , they paid attention a lot to all members of group.

Annapurna Basecamp September 2024 - This is my first trekking experience in himalaya, and thank's God I choose Alpine Club Himalaya, guide and porter was very helpfull during our trekking experience in himalaya.
Unfortunately heavy rain and landslide during our traffic lane from pokhara to katmandu, but Alpine Club arrange to evacuate us immediately so we can keep going to katmandu by another car.
Thank you to Alpine Club for making our dream possible, hope to see you in another trekking experience.

This trip was my first trip abroad alone. With the help of Alpine Club of Himalaya this trip was easy and enjoyable. - The friendliness of the staff and the service are very satisfying.
Tour guide, porter and the entire Alpine team and the trip coordination were very good, so the trip was on time and there were no problems.
I enjoy the trip and I'll be back..

Already planning my next trip! - The whole trip was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We customised our trek (as there was only two of us so we had the flexibility) to go via Poonhill which was the most amazing sunrise and added on a spa day in Kathmandu at the end. No request was too small for Sujan and even throughout the trek he checked in with our guides and called on facetime daily to check we were OK and enjoying ourselves. When our flights to Kathmandu from Pokhara got cancelled, Sujan very quickly sorted out alternative transport for us and got us back safely. Sonam and Ad our guide and porter looked after us as if we were part of their own family and had so much local knowledge.
I can't fault Alpine Club of Himalaya at all and am already planning my next trip to Nepal - such a beautiful country that will always hold a special place in my heart.
