- Ghandruk - After breakfast, we will travel via zigzag route over the middle hills to Nayapul (trail foot) where you meet your porters and start the trek to Birethanti, a prosperous riverside village nestled on the bank of the Modi Khola (which carries the melt water from the Annapurna South Glacier to the Ganges). Walk through the terraced fields to Syauli Bazaar, cross the suspension bridge and then rise uphill with excellent views of Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail), Hiunchuli and Annapurna South. Climbing through the long staircase and crossing the huge landslide, we reach the village of Ghandruk: with excellent views of the valley gorge – and tomorrow’s trail.
- Chhomrong - After breakfast, we will head north of the village, walk on an exposed trail to the summit of the ridge, and then descend to the green valley and suspension bridge over the Kimrong Khola. After lunch, we will descend to the valley through the thick cluster of rhododendron and oak forest to reach Chhomrong with great views of snowy peaks.
