Annapurna Circuit (14 days) - I did the Annapurna Circuit (14 days) with Balu Acharya. From the organizational point of view, everything worked great. As expected, I was picked up from the airport on time, was well informed about the tour and felt comfortable and in very good hands right from the start. I was really impressed with my guide Balu. I already noticed after our first evening that the vibe between us was right and we were going to have a good time. Balu is communicative and very cheerful and knows the route well. So I could concentrate entirely on hiking and enjoying the landscape. He adapted to my pace and wishes on the route and was always attentive if I needed anything. I was able to ask questions at any time and learned a lot about the country and culture through him. In the evenings in the lodges, he wasn't above joining other travelers in a group and playing various rounds of dumbball. A highlight after the tour was my birthday, which I was able to celebrate with Balu and his family at Balu's invitation, which was a really nice end to my trip to Nepal. With Balu you not only gain an experienced guide who shines with punctuality, humor and the odd dance performance, but also a friend who I would like to visit again on my next trip to Nepal. I had a really great time and flew back home full of love. I can highly recommend it, gladly again.

Annapurna circuit/ Tilicho lake/lower Mustangg - The intake was very professional with a clear communication and Binod kept into account our wishes. My wife got a very friendly porter, who was always helpful. We felt safe with Binod, he knew the rules of acute mountain sickness and arranged always a fine accomodation with good and reliable food, which is not always evident above 3000 meter. Every evening we discussed the program for the next day. The knowledge of the culture , the food and the people who live there were shared with us. His positivism and loads of energy gaves us strength and motivation to conquer the Thorang- La pass. We are very satisfied and would choose Mount Mania again for our next hike in the Himalayas. We recommend Mount Mania to all our friends. Sig and Guy

Just book it! - Highly recommend supporting and booking with Mount Mania. I live in the mountains and backpack often. Didn’t think we needed a guide but so happy we decided to book Ganesh. It was much more than telling us which trail to take. The local knowledge and insight were beyond valuable in making our trip relaxing, safe and rewarding. I would also highly recommend booking private jeeps transports whenever possible. The roads are very rough and taking a bus just isn’t fun. Its worth the small price increase and gives you time to when you want. You can chat with the guide and driver about your preferences. We did the 9 day Annapurna trek with two weeks in Nepal. If possible book longer treks because being on the trail is the highlight. Pokhara is great for a few days. Kathmandu is also fun for 2-3 days. Mountain mania can also do guided city tours or just make recommendations

10/10 experience! - We had the greatest time doing the Annapurna Circuit through mountain mania. I have traveled a lot over the past 15 years and this was absolutely the best trip i have ever taken. Although this is very popular and touristy, the culture is incredibly rich. While geared towards tourists, you can walk through working towns where Nepali people have lived for many years. There are functioning monasteries where Buddhist monks are trained and practicing. The scenery is 10/10. And it’s a challenge to overcome that feels extremely rewarding. Rupak was extremely responsive and helpful from the first hour we started doing research. He helped us tailor our trip perfectly to fit our timeframe and was very flexible with any changes we needed to make. In fact, we got our dates wrong and he was able to accommodate our last minute changes. Our guide, Ganesh, is from Nepal and has 17 years of experience. He knew many of the locals and was able to navigate the logistics with ease. He gave us a lot of important insight about the culture and helped us navigate the trek in a respectful way. He was fun, funny, and so kind and we are so grateful for him!! We travel a lot and live in a very outdoorsy area and have never used a guiding service before because we are used to being self sufficient in the mountains. However, We highly recommend using a guiding service for many reasons in Nepal. 1. it’s now the law 2. it’s an economic driver for this country and the people 3. All of the logistics are planned and figured out so you don’t have to think too much while on vacation. 4. You feel safer at high altitude with someone who knows the mountains, knows the evacuation methods, and knows the signs of pending altitude sickness. I’m a nurse at high altitude in the states and I still relied on our guide to give me peace of mind and guidance about altitude sickness. 5. Our guide was able to get us rooms at great hotels with great views while some people without guides were turned away entirely and had to continue on to the next town due to capacity. 6. All of our meals, accommodations, and travel within Nepal was included and it was an extremely reasonable price. Why mountain mania? It’s a Nepali owned company. They pay their guides well. Their ability to tailor trips to your needs is unmatched. Their professionalism and responsiveness is incredible. Their communication was great and they are very invested in making the company better and encourage feedback and ideas.

Great trekking around Annapurna - Me and my best friend did the long Annapurna Circuit for 19 days and had a great time guided by Mount Mania. Our Guide Ginesh was very friendly, knew enough English for good Infos and conversation and always kept an eye on us. Every couple of days we changed a bit our plan and that was not a problem. We felt safe and still had enough privacy to enjoy the mountains on ourselfs. Highly reccomended!

Great guide - Our guide was very helpful and friendly! If you were just struggling with your backpack or hiking poles for 1 second, he’d come up to you and help you. His English was limited but good enough to understand the most important things. You could tell he had a lot of experience in trekking and guiding. During the trek we grew closer and could make jokes together!
