After Lunch, Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village, where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. Visit to the National Park visitor’s centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife & sunset view from the bank of Rapti River. In the evening, we go to see Tharu Cultural Dance Program performed by the Tharus which will be another highlight of your visit to Chitwan. The Tharus in colourful traditional costumes unique in their disparity with the common mode of dress all over Nepal, are sure to captivate you.
Wildlife Activities at Chitwan. (415m/1,362ft)
Chitwan National Park - On this day, we explore the wilderness of Chitwan with a full day jungle activities.We will go for Canoe ride along the Rapti River for bird watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial. On the way back, we can enjoy the elephant bathing view. After Lunch, we go for Jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park where we can get an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.
Drive back to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
Kathmandu Valley - On this day, after breakfast, we retrace our scenic route back to Kathmandu.Upon arrival, we will be escorted to the hotel where we can relax and freshen up. In the evening, the representative of K.J Adventures will pick you for the final day dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
