Amazing experience, with incredible views and people - The team where very organised with no issues at all on the trek. Our guide Raj Kumar Rai was so helpful and informative!
The trek itself was very doable if you have a decent level of fitness. Raj was very attentive to our well being ensuring we took regular stops and drank lots of water as we gained allitude. Each day brought different views, each of which where incredible.

Exceptional Tour - One of the best experiences of my life. I couldn't recommend this package highly enough. Raj was a fantastic guide.
The tour was perfectly organised in a way that made it enjoyable, and so we could cope with the altitude.
Everything was handled for us, it was such a stress free experience.

BEST TRIP OF A LIFETIME! - The most INCREDIBLE ,Mind blowing - life changing adventure that I still can't believe happened! Icicles Adventure made our trip so special and I am so grateful that we were able to experience Nepal and the Khumbu region in all its glory. I cannot thank them enough and I cannot express the love I have for our beautiful team especially our unbelievable Guide Sarla who took such great care of us on this journey. She will forever be one of the most special humans I have had the pleasure of meeting. You will be in safe hands with this team. Their support and skill is unmeasurable and each tea house is specially arranged with so much care & love. They were all very comfortable and we were never cold at night (we went early September). The food was amazing and I had more then I could need! We ate solely Nepalese food and it was wonderful and super nutritious (exactly what your body needs on the trek) The landscapes are unfathomable and the people so kind and hospitable. I would go back in a heartbeat! Our trip was just myself ,my best friend, our guide and our porter and it was so intimate and special. we also saw other people in bigger groups using Icicles and they also agreed it was the best decision they had made! BEST TRIP OF A LIFETIME!

Memorable and Marvellous. - This trip was amazing and I felt looked after, provided for and comforted by the Icicles team! When I got gastro the first day of our trek, they supported me by assisting me with my medication, ensuring that my father and I (who were travelling together) shared a room by booking an extra one and assisting us to the hospital in Namche.
Special thanks to our tour guide Sandip for the amazing advice, lovely photos, down to earth energy and great conversations and ways to keep us entertained and in good spirits. The special moments of this trip I will remember for my whole life and am glad to have such beautiful memories.
If you’re thinking of doing a trek to base camp or in the Himalayas, Icicles is the tour for you!

Our guide, Sandip Bhatta was exceptional with a rare combination of leadership, humility, patience, knowledge, humour and trust. I have nothing but the highest opinion of him and his ability to lead with confidence (particularly when both my daughter and myself started out with gastro we picked up in Kathmandu).
Our porters were also great and often went above and beyond to help achieve our goals. And always with a smile.
Well done Icicles. This was a truly memorable experience and your contribution to those memories is highly valued.

Everest Base Camp has always been a dream of mine, and I finally had the chance to make it a reality! I traveled with three wonderful people firstly a young man named James from New Zealand, as well as a father-daughter duo, Lachlan and Bree. Our adventure was made even more special thanks to our incredible team.
We were fortunate to have two amazing porters, Tek and Basam, who carried our bags with ease and always greeted us with smiles. Their positivity made the trek so much more enjoyable. However, the true star of our journey was our guide, Sandeep.
Sandeep was not just a guide; he was the heart and soul of our expedition. His honesty, hard work, and genuine care for our well-being made all the difference. He kept us motivated during the challenging moments and was always there to lend a helping hand or a word of encouragement. Sandeep’s ability to connect with each of us and his passion for the mountains truly shone through.
I cannot express how grateful I am to have had Sandeep by our side. He is a credit to Icicles and a testament to what a great guide should be. This journey was not for the faint-hearted, but with Sandeep leading the way, we all felt supported and inspired. It was an emotional and unforgettable experience, and I wouldn’t have wished for a better person to guide us on this incredible adventure.

Trip of a lifetime - Genuinely once in a lifetime experience. Dreamed of this since I was a little kid. My first solo trip at 19 and it's totally unforgettable. My guide Sandip blew me away daily with how he led and cared for the group. His patience and wisdom as well as knowledge and customer service was rivaled by none. Only known him 13 days but he's had a huge influence on my life as this will inspire many more adventures. My porter boys were unreal as well. I have no words to express how much this has meant to me as an experience. EBC is one of the greatest things I will ever do and I can't imagine a better team or guide to do it with. I will finish with my last Instagram post caption. As the sun sets on the Himalayas and also on my time in Nepal, one of the great adventures of my life, I can't help but be a little melancholy, but the stars rise on a new adventure ✨️

Unforgettable experience - I did the 14 day EBC trek with food. As a solo traveller I was nervous about doing this trek, but as soon as you arrive, the Icicles team have everything in hand, they were fantastic from start to finish. Our guide Pooja was exceptional - she was friendly and professional, and prioritised our safety, wellbeing and enjoyment at all times. When members of our team were unwell she showed true compassion, and her expertise and encouragement ensured we all made it to Base Camp together. This was a challenging but truly unforgettable experience, and I can’t thank Pooja and Indira, and the Icicles team enough. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody wanting to do this trip. I was very lucky to be part of such a great team, and after joining as a solo traveller, I left with friends and memories for life.

Ram, Manoj, Sherpas and Icicles were amazing for EBC! - So pleased that I did my trek solo and joined up with a group organised by Icicles. I booked through adventure people in the UK, who use Icicles. Ram was our guide and Manoj was assistant guide. Ram was very experienced, spoke great English and provided great advice throughout the trek and was very attentive when anyone was having health concerns. Manoj was doing EBC for the first time and was great at either setting the pace at the front or ensuring no one dropped off the back. The accomodation we had at each place seemed to be better than the average options in each place and Kathmandu but that said the accommodation is quite basic at higher altitudes (Loboche and Gorakshep). Itinerary seemed very logical and gave a good balance for acclimatising to higher altitude, which meant all eight of us made it to EBC. Overall great experience and very good value for money from what we could make out as a group. I would highly recommend Icicles.

What a trip! - Can’t recommend Icicles enough from start to finish very organised and extremely transparent with what to expect from each day. Ram and Manoj our guides were outstanding and very helpful, the group could not of asked for better!
