  • Kathmandu - Full day of sightseeing around Kathmandu, including its UNESCO World Heritage sites. In the evening, enjoy dinner and a trek briefing.
  • Khudi Bridge - Begin your journey into the hills on a winding road along the Trishuli River, admiring terraced farms and beautiful huts. After reaching a juncture at Mugling, continue straight towards Pokhara. At Dumre, leave the previous trail and head north to Besisahar. A half-hour drive from Besisahar takes you to Khudi, the starting point of our trek. Alternatively, you can get off at Besisahar and trek for an hour to reach Khudi along a wide trail. Khudi offers your first glimpse of the stunning Manaslu range.
  • मर्स्याङ्दी गाँउपालिकाको कार्यालय - Depart Sirung for Jagat on a relatively easy trail, leaving behind village terraces and entering forests, ferns, and woodlands. Spot a variety of birds along the forest trail and pass through several small villages and temples. Cross a suspension bridge over Sangu Khola at Mipra, then another at Syange over the Marshyangdi River, where a waterfall is nearby. The trail follows the Marshyangdi River, crossing one more bridge before reaching Jagat.
  • Khudi Bazaar - The first day’s walk involves crossing several suspension bridges and waterfalls, with ascents and descents through rice paddies and subtropical forests. The walk starts gradually but becomes steeper. The mountains seen from Khudi appear much closer now. Before reaching Sirung village, pass through the ethnic Tamang settlement of Taranche. Enjoy close-up views of Nadi Chuli and Manaslu mountains from Sirung.
  • Jagat - Travel from Sirung to Jagat, passing through picturesque villages like Kharka and Nauli Gaon, which offer glimpses into the local life and culture of the Manang people. The trail follows the Marshyangdi River Valley, providing stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lush vegetation. Experience diverse landscapes, from lower subalpine forests with rhododendrons to drier areas with juniper trees as you gain altitude. Encounter waterfalls and cross thrilling suspension bridges along the trail.
  • Dharapani - After breakfast, begin your trek with a descent to the river, continuing through a lush forest. Ascend to a sharp-edged cliff facing the riverbank. En route, Chyamje appears amidst the backdrop of the towering Annapurna mountain ranges. After crossing a suspension bridge, climb steeply towards the challenging path to Sattale. Descend to a grassy riverbank leading to Tal, then follow a rugged and winding path to the steeply-forested village of Karte. Meander along waterfalls and cliffs before finally reaching Dharapani after crossing a suspension bridge.
  • Chame - Walk through forested ridges on your way to Chame, the headquarters of the Manang District. Admire amazing views of the Himalayas, including Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV. Encounter small hot springs where you can soothe your aching muscles.
  • Yak Kharka - From Manang village, the trail crosses a stream, climbs to Tenki village, and continues out of the Marshyangdi Valley, turning northwest up the Jarsang Khola Valley. The trail follows this valley northward, passing pastures and juniper trees, steadily gaining elevation. Pass near the small village of Ghunsa, then through meadows where horses and yaks graze. After crossing a small river on a wooden bridge, pass an ancient Mani wall in a pleasant meadow before reaching the small village of Yak Kharka.
  • Manang - Follow the trail to Upper Pisang via Geru, guaranteeing excellent views of the landscape and the mighty mountains, including Annapurna and Pisang. Notice a contrast in the landscape and vegetation as the climate becomes colder and drier. Visit Barge Monastery, the largest in the Manang district.
  • Chame - A steep and narrow path through a dense forest leads to a dramatic curved rock face rising 1500m from the river. This is the steepest part of the Marshyangdi Valley, with the trail carved into the vertical rock. After passing this rock, the valley opens up with majestic vistas. The Paungda Danda, a massive sloping rock face, rises over 1500m above the trail. Trek for a while before reaching Lower Pisang for the night.
  • Thorong La Pass - Walk uphill to Thorang Phedi, crossing a suspension bridge to reach Ledar village. Ascend further, passing towering cliffs before reaching Thorang Phedi, the last village before Thorong La pass. Enjoy views of Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, and Mt. Khatungkan. ‘Phedi’ means the foot of a mountain in Nepalese.
  • Pokhara Lakeside - From Tatopani, make a steep descent through a dense forest of old rhododendron trees. When in bloom, these forests turn into beautiful gardens. Depending on the season, enjoy cherry blossoms on the slopes across the ravine. Enter the village of Ghandruk, inhabited by the Gurung people, and enjoy close-up views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains. Continue to Nayapul, then drive to Pokhara.
  • Manang - Stay fit on the trails with a short hike to Bhojo Gumba or Gangapurna Lake. If you have the energy, hike to Vraga Village to visit the Himalayan Rescue Association and learn about Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).
  • Tatopani Hot Spring - Trek from Muktinath to Tatopani Hot Springs, mostly downhill. Cross the bridge at Ghasa and re-enter subtropical forests. Continue along Rupse Chahara (waterfall) and down the east bank from Kopchepani via Garpar to a bridge at Dana. At Narchyang Besi, see a powerhouse supplying electricity to the area. Observe the everyday lives of local people in larger villages. Upon reaching Tatopani, relax in the hot spring.
  • Muktinath Temple - Crossing Thorong La pass, one of the highest passes in the world, is the ultimate objective today. Cross from east to west (Manang to Muktinath), the easiest and safest direction. Start around three in the morning and walk up the mountain. Guide and route perfect - The trekking route was great, we hiked an alternative route despite the Tilicho Lake being closed. Thanks to our guide Rajesh, everything worked perfectly. He was always by our side whether in the mountains or in the city. Without him, it wouldn't have gone so well.

DIPSUN IS A SCAM! DO NOT TRUST HIM! - We were scammed by Dipsun Kunwar, the owner of the Vyas Trek! We met him during our first trip to Nepal where he helped us with the itinerary back in 2019. Since we had a good time with the itinerary, we decided to plan another trip with him in 2021. After the lockdown in 2020, we were very excited to go back to Nepal on March 2021 and we thought that he was a friend but much to our dismay he is a con artist. We saved for months to finally travel again after so long. We gave him around 3lac Nepali rupees for the Annapurna circuit, out of which he said that he'll refund us the insurance money, which summed up to be $1000, by the end of our trip. After staying there for over a month, we asked him for the money many times but he always had an excuse and delayed the payment. Due to the dire covid situation in Nepal, the international flights were closing and we had to return back to Dhaka on May 5, 2021. We even called him many times that day but he didnt pick up. We called and texted him after we returned. He promised that he'll return the money but then after a week he unfriended us on Facebook and blocked us in messenger and definitely is not answering our calls or messages. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH HIM. I ALWAYS HAD A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE IN NEPAL, EXCEPT FOR THIS ONE TIME AND I WILL URGE EVERYONE TO PLEASE NOT TRUST HIM AT ALL AS HE WILL SCAM YOU THE WAY HE BETRAYED OUR TRUST. I FULLY INTEND TO TAKE LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST HIM AND HIS COMPANY ONCE THE COVID SITUATION IS BETTER IN NEPAL.
