Supportive and Professional Team from Start to Finish - Alpine Ramble came highly recommended by a former customer, and I wasn’t disappointed. From the beginning, Dil was incredibly responsive and patient, answering all of my questions leading up to our Everest Base Camp trek. Our guide, Sugal, was friendly, attentive, and always looking out for my wife and me throughout the journey. Our porter was also wonderful and even stepped in to help carry some of my gear when I struggled with altitude sickness. The whole team made the experience memorable and smooth from start to finish.

Everest Base Camp Trek with Alpine Ramble Treks! - I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Alpine Ramble Treks, and honestly, it was an incredible experience. Before the trip even started, Dil, the owner, was a huge help. He sent over a really clear itinerary and answered all my questions patiently. What really stood out was how well they tailored the trip to my needs. I don't usually write reviews, but the exceptional service I received really made me want to share this. Out on the trail, our porter, Suk, and our guide, Sujal, were just fantastic. They were professional every step of the way, but also went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, safe and enjoying myself. Sujal knew so much about the area, and Suk's strength and constant good humor were truly inspiring. Everything was so smoothly organized, which meant I could just focus on the amazing scenery. I did not need to lift a finger! Thank you Alpine Ramble Treks for the once in a lifetime to experience! If you're thinking about trekking to Everest Base Camp, I'd definitely recommend Alpine Ramble Treks.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Life-Changing Trek with Alpine Ramble - Our Everest Base Camp trek with Alpine Ramble was unforgettable. Dil was incredibly responsive and thoughtful from start to finish. Prashant, our guide, was the heart of the journey—calm, knowledgeable, and full of spirit (he even sang “Resham Firiri” in the clouds!). Robin, our porter, showed incredible strength and kindness—we’re excited to see him become a guide someday. This team didn’t just get us to Base Camp—they made the whole experience meaningful, safe, and personal. Book with Alpine Ramble—you won’t regret it.

Great EBC trek with Alpine Ramble and their excellent guide. - The trek was fantastic! Our excellent, friendly and very experienced guide Purna always knew what pace we should be walking at, he knew the names of all of the mountain peaks, temples and other sights and was very careful to monitor our health as we ascended higher up to EBC and then back down the valley. Dil at the Kathmandu office made sure we were set with all the right equipment. We highly recommend Alpine Ramble and their team.

There and back again, a base camp story - Trekking from Lukla to Everest Base Camp and back in just 8 days was one of the most intense, rewarding, and unforgettable experiences of my life. From the moment I landed on the short and nerve wracking runway of Lukla, I knew this adventure would test my limits physically, mentally, and emotionally. The trail winds through picturesque villages, swinging suspension bridges, and ever-changing landscapes, from lush forests in Phakding and Namche Bazaar to the barren, dramatic terrain above Dingboche. The views of towering peaks like Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and, of course, Everest were absolutely surreal. Pacing was everything. Doing the round trip in 8 days meant long hiking hours, no days for acclimatizing and a constant battle against fatigue and altitude. I felt the effects of altitude most around Lobuche and Gorak Shep headaches, shortness of breath, and poor sleep but I pushed through with proper hydration, no Diamox, and a slow, steady pace. Reaching Everest Base Camp felt surreal. Standing there, surrounded by prayer flags and glacial ice, I was overwhelmed with emotion not just for the view, but for what it took to get there. It’s not just a trek; it’s a journey of perseverance and self-discovery. The return to Lukla was equally challenging—descents that killed the knees, rocky paths that tested every step but the promise of a warm meal and a shower kept me going. By the time I walked back into Lukla, exhausted and elated, I felt an immense sense of accomplishment. Would I recommend it? Absolutely but it’s not for the faint of heart. If you’re considering doing it in 8 days, be prepared for tough climbs, limited rest, and unpredictable weather. But if you’re up for the challenge, the rewards views, culture, camaraderie, and personal growth are more than worth it. Lastly, I want to thank my amazing guide and the fantastic companions I had the privilege of meeting and trekking alongside. Bhopal, James, Doji, your companionship, encouragement, and shared determination were a huge part of what kept me going. Through every steep climb and freezing morning, your presence reminded me I wasn’t alone on this journey. I truly don’t think I could’ve completed this trek without you. I’m forever grateful to you guys.

Everest Base Camp trek - Had a wonderful experience on the Everest Base Camp trek with Dik Rai as our guide. Dik is very experienced, with good connections with the peoples in the villages/camps along the route. His foresight in trip planning, i.e. anticipating ahead making adjustments to the schedules, itenery, and teahouses to fit our pace and comfort levels, as well as his excellent recommendations made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. He was also very knowledgeable, answering all of our queries on the local geography, culture, flora and fauna. Would highly recommend Dik Rai and the Alpine Ramble team for the EBC hike and can't wait to visit again on other treks!

Ebc via Gokyo lakes with Samir- a must do - I did the Everest base camp trek via Gokyo Lakes, and this was the trip of a lifetime for me. Seeing the beautiful rhododendron forests and sparkling rivers of the lowlands, the amazing lakes of Gokyo, and the stunning scenery of Everest base camp gave me the exact experience I was looking for. My guides Samir and Tikka were both extremely qualified and knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and well taken care of the entire trip. I would recommend Samir and Tikka without hesitation for any trip with alpine ramble

AMAZING ADVENTURE DO IT!! - Doing the Gokyo lakes, chola pass, EBC trek with Alpine ramble was the most incredible experience! Our guides Samir and Tika were amazing! Samir very attentive and friendly was amazing at teaching us about mountains and culture. As I have food dietary restrictions managed explaining that to tea houses throughout amazingly! He also managed group illnesses and put a lot of effort into getting us a better flight straight back to KTM to avoid 6 hour jeep ride! Amazing! Tika was insanely knowledgeable! Was realistic about how long different sections of the trek would be and knew the trail like the back of his hand! Tika not only was very kind and warm but funny and brought a lot of laughter to the group!! (Watch out he cheats in snap though) really valued Tika’s support, patience and humor throughout the journey!! Ulta and jiban were amazing porters very strong and capable and attentive!! I highly recommend this company and these guides if you want an incredible experience in the mountains both hiking and getting to know the culture!!
