Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla 35 min Flight Trek to Phakding
Phakding - An early morning scenic flight (35 min) takes us to Lukla. We are now in the land of the Sherpa people, where we meet and introduce our crew who will carry your luggage throughout the trek. The trek begins in Lukla with a 2-hour acclimatization and tea stop, followed by a downhill walk along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through the Sherpa villages of Chhupulung, Ghat, and finally reaching Phakding. The trail offers majestic and captivating views of mountains and beautiful landscapes, with Tibetan words carved in rocks and colorful Buddhist flags adorning the mani walls, making the trek more exciting. We will ensure the Yak trains pass safely, overnight at the lodge.

Trek to Namche Bazaar
Irish Pub - Today, we will be greeted with a friendly ‘Good Morning’ and enjoy breakfast with hot drinks. After breakfast, we trek through lush pine forests, crossing the Dudh Koshi River, and get an amazing first view of Mount Everest, Kusum Kangaroo, Thamserku, Kangtega, and more, before starting a slow and steep climb to Namche Bazaar. The view is breathtaking. Namche Bazaar is the capital of the Khumbu region and is well known as a trading center. It is a town set in an arena with beautiful mountains surrounding it. In the afternoon, explore the lively market area. Overnight at the lodge.

Rest and Acclimatization Day at Namche
Irish Pub - Rest and acclimatization. Today, we will ascend to a lookout for great mountain views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse, Thamserku, Kwangde, Khandala, the stunning Ama Dablam, and one of the most beautiful valleys you will ever see. We will climb higher to Syangboche and the Everest View Hotel (built by the Japanese as a deluxe hotel with great views of Mt. Everest and the highest mountains on Earth). Afterward, relax and/or explore the quaint Namche Bazaar, which has shops, restaurants, a bakery, and a colorful market (each Saturday). We can also visit the Sherpa Museum and learn about the traditional customs of the Sherpa people, as well as view the mountain photo gallery in Namche Bazaar. Overnight at the lodge.

Trek to Tengboche
Tengboche Monastery - Today, we trek along the highway of Everest (a significant contribution to trekkers and locals). This section of the trek includes the famous descent to the Dudh-Koshi River and the equally famous ascent through rhododendron forests via Phunki Thanga, across the Imja Khola River, and up to Tengboche Monastery. Upon reaching Tengboche, we visit Tengboche Monastery, one of the spiritually vital Buddhist monasteries in the Khumbu region, with views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Overnight in Tengboche.

Trek to Dingboche
Dingboche View Point - Early in the morning, the monastery in Tengboche and the surrounding mountains look pristine and spectacular. After breakfast, our trail takes us through a beautiful forest (referred to as “Merlin’s Forest” for its magical quality), down to the river, and back up to the village of Pangboche. We pass several Chortens, Mani-stone walls, small villages, and marvel at one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, Ama Dablam. After lunch, we trek past the towering north face of Ama Dablam into the Imja Khola Valley. We cross the Lobuche River and hike up to Dingboche for a well-earned rest.

Acclimatization Day at Dingboche
Dingboche View Point - Today is a rest day at Dingboche, a popular stop for trekkers and climbers headed to Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, or Imja Tse. The village is beautiful, with fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley and potatoes from the cold wind. We spend the day at Dingboche for acclimatization, taking day hikes to either Nagarjung Hill or Chukkhung Valley for great views of Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache, Ama Dablam, and many other surrounding snowcapped peaks. Overnight at the lodge.

Trek to Lobuche
Trek to Everest Base Camp and Back to Gorak Shep
Gorak Shep - Today is the most exciting and long-awaited day. Departing from Lobuche, the trail leads through flat meadows for a while, then follows the Khumbu Glacier northwards with a short climb. The trail then ascends onto the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to Gorak Shep. The path offers superb views of the massive Khumbu Glacier and the trans-Himalayas. Upon arrival at Gorak Shep, check into the room, and after lunch, walk to Everest Base Camp. The trail continues on the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, with the path often changing with the seasons due to glacier melting. Once we reach Base Camp, we take photographs and then retrace our steps to Gorak Shep. Overnight at the lodge.

Hike to Kalapathar and Back to Pheriche
Mount Everest - Wake up early this morning for a 2-hour climb to Kalapathar at the base of Mt. Pumori. From Kalapathar, witness the sunrise over the majestic Himalayas in a 360º view, including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lola, Khumbutse, Ama Table, Tabuchi, Cholatse, Thamserku, and numerous other peaks, with excellent views of Everest Base Camp and the Khumbu Glacier. Afterward, have breakfast and continue walking through the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, passing Lobuche, and descend back down the beautiful valley to Pheriche. Overnight at the lodge.

Everest Beauty Salon - Today, the trail descends the steep section back along the same route, crossing Jorsalle, Manjo, Benkar, Phakding, and other small villages along the way. It is time to celebrate and reflect on an incredible experience, often described as “unbelievable,” “life-changing,” “unimaginable,” “a quantum shift in consciousness,” and “a must for everyone’s bucket list.”
