5 Stars - Absolutely fabulous experience with Alphine ramble trek, the entire process from start to finish was pretty smooth. The lead guide, and the other junior guides are excellent throughout the 14 days trek that we were together starting from the welcome to the exit and taking care of people on a daily basis. The ownership and the senior management were very supportive as well, especially when we needed them for certain minor emergencies. Most of us were new to this grueling, long, high terrain trekking, so we needed judicious guidance which we got from the Alphine team. Highly recommended.

Everest Base Camp with 3 Passes Trek - We've completed an excellent 16-day trek in Khumbu Himal region with three high passes (Kongma La 5,535 masl, Cho La 5,420 masl, and Renjo La 5,345 masl) and visiting four peaks (Nagkartshang 5,086 masl, Chukung Ri 5,554 masl and Gokyo Ri 5,350 masl) during November 2022. A high altitude trek adventure to remember for its amazing scenery, great weather and fantastic crew and organization of Alpine Ramble Team. It is a personal position of what you like – for me EBC itself was too commercialized and not the highlight of the trip, although it’s got its value and emotion. The rest of the trek, especially farther, not so crowded paths, were the genuine gem for me. An effort worth every footstep of it. Guides were sincerely well prepared and experienced, making us a really pleasant company, assuring we feel well and secure all the time. Whether you fancy easy going or being a bit faster, didn’t matter as they kept it all well synchronized and on time. It is a long trek, sleeping 12 consecutive days on altitudes from 4,300 to 5,100 masl, pretty cold nights, but sharp clear skies every single day set it all aside. Views are extraordinary. And in the backstage, Mr. Dil Gurung from Alpine Rumble kept the track of all the news from the mountain, making sure everything is taken care of. Even though some of our colleagues have had mild AMS symptoms, but had to return earlier to lower altitude nevertheless (yes, it can happen), he managed to get them all safe and sound to the valley and make sure the rest of us continue as planned till the end. It was a high season, of course, and crowds and delays are expected, most of it at Lukla airport. Mr. Dil was efficient and professional above level to handle this with seamless effort. Thanks a lot, once again. Thank you, Sarun, our young guide, and thank you, Dilman, my dear mountain friend, for all the Himalayan days. Last but not least, thanks to my friends with whom I’ve managed to take part in one of the best mountain journeys so far. Silence, walk, breathe, live. Shall return back, for sure.

EBC Trek by the Menon family - The trek was strenuous but was expertly managed by Dilman’s team which included the porters Suman and Sonam. Without their guidance and help we would have struggled even more during the trek but with the right pauses and the team taking care of us, we were able to enjoy the experience - we saw the Mount Everest on day 3 when the weather was in our favor!

The adventure of a life time. - A life changing experience. I am pleased I arrange my trip with Alpine Ramble. They arranged everything for me. I was able to complete the Everest Base Camp Trek in a week (Thanks to the good wether conditions) and they took care of everything. My guide Happy Potter (as they called him) was very knowledgeable, explained everything, was always on time every day and answered all my questions. My porter (not sure the right spelling of his name) was awesome as well. A very professional team. This is an experience that would definitely get you out of your comfort zone. It doesn't get any higher than mount everest! If anyone needs help, have questions about extra expenses, flights or anything I'll leave my instagram here @hildebrandogonz

Highly recommend, professional but also personal guided tour - I had a fantastic time with the trekking guide Dika Rai. He is a very pleasant and humorous guy and we made a good team. I didn't have to worry about anything other than hiking 🙂. Alpine Ramble, run by Dil Gurung, is a very professional company that still provides very personal support. I was personally welcomed by Dil at the start of my tour and he took a lot of time to explain everything to me and again at the end to say goodbye and hand over a certificate. I felt safe and well looked after at all times on the mountain. We weren't always lucky with the weather, which led to delays in the flights between Kathmandu and Lukla. But thanks to the good support, this wasn't a problem. Dika and Dil took care of booking or rebooking the appropriate flights in the background, which was particularly convenient for me because I returned to Lukla with Dika a day earlier than originally planned. Acclimatization to the altitude of over 5000m was also no problem. The 11-day program allows enough time and special acclimatization days to get used to the altitude.  I really enjoyed the trip and took tons of wonderful photos. Highly recommended 👍😎

Thanks Tek! Thanks Alpine Ramble! - Alpine Ramble guides and porters were amazing! They got us from town to town, set our expectations, served us food, helped us with anything we asked for. Tek (our lead guide), Arjun and Dil did amazing to help our team reach Everest Base Camp! I would recommend using Alpine Ramble! We had a group of 11 experienced / inexperienced trekkers, all were helped and guided!

Mount Everest Base Camp Trek April 2024 - Wish I can give Alpine Ramble more than 5 stars they were truly spectacular!!! I've been wanting to go on this trek for many many years but had many concerns. First I was born and raised in Chicago, USA which only has a elevation of 176 meters. So hiking to 5,364 meters was definitely a daunting task. Secondly my wife and I used to hike on occasion but Chicago is a very flat and has a smooth landscape so we were not sure how our bodies would handle the terrain in the Himalayas. And lastly we have a extremely busy life with work and 2 young kids the ages of 5 and 7 so to be quite honest we are not in the best shape of our lives. With that being said last June (2023) I started looking at a few trekking companies. Some companies would take days to answer my questions but Dil the owner of Alpine replied immediately. And when I called him he picked up every single time. I asked him a bunch of questions (Altitude sickness, Tea house commendations, Visa, equipment needed, etc) and he was able quickly provide an answer. So I spoke to my wife and we booked the trip. And am I so glad we did. We booked the 12 day trek to Everest Base Camp and from the moment we arrived at the airport we were greeted by a member from Alpine. When we arrived at Hotel Thamel Park, Dil was also there. Although we were on the other side of the world everyone made us feel like home. Honestly it felt like we've known them our entire life. They made us feel like family the moment we meet. There hospitality was out of this world. There we meet our guide Sujal Gurung. And I can't say enough about Sujal. He is the kindest and most gentle man I've ever met. Trekking with him for 2 weeks was amazing. He looked after our safety, booked our meals, checked our oxygen levels, was there for encouragement when needed, cracked jokes, filmed us during our trek, we couldn't ask for anything more. At Lukla we meet our porter Sumone and again what a wonderful man he was. He was quick to get us tea or coffee at our tea houses and always wanted to do more for us. I will forever be grateful for Sujal and Sumone. They made our once and a lifetime trip to EBC extremely memorable. And for that I want to say Thank You again and with much much love. They will forever be part of my memories which I will hopefully share with my grandkids. I won't say much about the trek since there is so much that can be found online. But I do want to mention when researching online there were some videos where the accommodations weren't great. However, Alpine booked us the most beautiful Tea houses with amazing views (Waking up and seeing Everest from your bedroom window will forever be burned in our mind). The bathroom accommodations at the tea house starting from Phakding to Gorak Shep were fantastic. We didn't use a squatting bathroom our entire trip which was unimaginable before we left. We were definitely eating and sleeping at the best Tea Houses the Trek has to offer. I want to thank Dil, Sujal, Sumone and the entire Alpine Ramble Treks company a sincere thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And to everyone that has doubts about the trek give Dil a call and simply do it. Trekking between the biggest mountains in the world is such a humbling and breath taking experience which everyone should experience at least once in there life time. It is something we will forever remember. Even though the website doesn't allow me to provide more then 5 starts I'm going to type in "STARS x 1,000" Than you again Apline and I wish your entire team nothing but the best in life. Naamste. For a safe and memorable experience choose Alpine Ramble! - A very memorable experience doing the EBC trek with Alpine Ramble. I felt relaxed knowing that accommodation along the trek and travel in and out from Lukla was taken care of. Our guide Harri, what a guy! He always made us laugh, and turns out is a perfect photographer who knows all the best spots for photos with expert knowledge on all of the mountains to go with it! He did a fantastic job at explaining all parts of the trek the night before so we knew what was coming next and kept us going even in times where it was most challenging. Itinerary is designed to support the acclimatisation process, and guides are essential in understanding and judging when it is safe for you to move forward or not. Oxygen and heart rate monitor was used regularly to check how our bodies were managing with the adjustments so if this is something that worries you please make sure to get a guide or at least a monitor! Shout out to all porters too who also work incredibly hard to carry the bits that you may struggle to over such long distances and up and down super difficult terrain. Man was “the man!”
