Flights to Lukla - Take a flight from Kathmandu airport to Lukla, the gateway to Everest.
Phakding - Begin the Everest Base Camp trek to Phakding, descending through pine forests and charming Sherpa villages. Arrive at the delightful village of Phakding and settle into a tea house for the night. Use the remaining daylight to explore Phakding.
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3535 m)
Namche Bazaar - Start the trek after breakfast, crossing suspension bridges and traveling through pine forests. Pass through the small checkpoint of Monjo for entry verification into Sagarmatha National Park. Continue trekking alongside the Dudh Koshi River, passing through the village of Jorsalle. Begin the challenging ascent to Namche Bazaar after crossing the Tenzing Hillary Suspension Bridge, featuring a steep climb with breathtaking views of Thamserku, Everest, and other peaks. Arrive at Namche Bazaar, a bustling market town and the commercial hub of the Khumbu region.
Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Namche Bazaar - To prevent altitude sickness, acclimatization in Namche Bazaar is necessary. Namche Bazaar is the most beautiful and primary town of the Everest region. The area is filled with a colorful market, ATMs, government offices, shops, restaurants, and more.
Trek to Deboche (3820 m)
Tengboche - Ascend towards Tengboche village, home to the famous Tengboche monastery, the largest monastery in the Everest region (5-6 hours).
Deboche - Proceed to Deboche after spending time at Tengboche, cross the Imja River, and check into a tea house for an overnight stay in Deboche.
Trek to Dingboche (4350 m)
Dingboche - The trail descends and passes through lush forests of birch, conifer, and rhododendron trees. Enjoy views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam while trekking. Continue walking to the Imja Valley and Lobuche River before ascending to Dingboche (5-6 hours).
Acclimatization in Dingboche
Dingboche - Acclimatization is crucial for a safe and enjoyable trek at higher altitudes. Today is dedicated to resting and exploring Dingboche, helping the body adapt to the rising elevation and preparing for upcoming challenges. Start the day with breakfast. For additional acclimatization, hike to Nangkartshang Peak, offering views of Makalu, Lhotse, Cholatse, Tawache, and Ama Dablam.
Trek to Lobuche (4940 M)
Lobuche - As the trek continues from Dingboche to Lobuche, the journey gets closer to Everest Base Camp. The landscape becomes rougher, and the air thinner as the trek progresses through high-altitude terrain. Begin the day with breakfast, prepare for the trek, ascend towards Thukla Pass to enjoy panoramic views of Pumori and Nuptse, take a lunch break in Thukla, and continue trekking towards Lobuche.
Trek to Gorakshep (5160M) and Hike to Everest Base Camp (5564M)
Gorakshep - Start the morning trek after a hearty breakfast in Lobuche, navigate rocky terrain to ascend to Gorakshep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp luxury trek. Check into the tea house for a quick lunch, then embark on the journey to Everest Base Camp.
Everest Base Camp - Today is significant as the journey reaches Everest Base Camp. After lunch, embark on the journey to Everest Base Camp through the Khumbu Glacier. Capture memories with photographs at this incredible spot. After enjoying the Everest Base Camp luxury trek experience, trek back to Gorakshep.
Hike to Kalapathar (5545 m) and Trek Down to Pheriche (4371 M)
Kala Patthar - Begin the day early to witness a stunning sunrise over the Himalayas at Kala Patthar and spend time taking photographs. Then, descend from Kala Patthar to Gorakshep.
Pheriche - After breakfast at Gorakshep, trek down towards Pheriche, stop for lunch in the familiar spot of Lobuche or Thukla, and finally reach Pheriche to check into a tea house.
Trek Down to Namche
Namche Bazaar - Continue the descent, making the way back to Namche Bazaar. Descending to lower altitudes brings welcome relief, and familiar landscapes will be encountered along the way.
Trek Down to Lukla
Lukla - Today marks the last day of the trek as the journey descends from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. The path goes through familiar villages and landscapes, providing an opportunity to reflect on the amazing journey. Start the descent from Namche Bazaar after breakfast. Take breaks for tea, enjoy the scenic beauty, and catch glimpses of the mountains one last time. Have lunch in the charming village of Phakding. Continue the trek, crossing suspension bridges and passing through forests. Finally, arrive in Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region, and check into a tea house.
Fly Back to Kathmandu on Domestic Flight
Kathmandu - In the morning, fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla and transfer to the trip hotel.
