Everest Base Camp - Fantastic hike!! Would highly recommend!
Santosh was a fabulous guide and helped me to get to base camp and the summit of Kala Pattar. Very welcoming and friendly team! Great hotel in Kathmandu and Santosh found the best accommodation available thought the whole trek!

Unforgettable! - Excellent Experience!
From start to finish we loved every day. Our guide, Prakash, was a consummate professional. He knew his job and did it perfectly. We observed other good guides on our trip, but Prakash was exceptional, and he is clearly respected by his team. Ask for him if you can. Ganga was fair and professional throughout the trip. He is easy to talk to and he promptly answered every question and accommodated our every request. We chose to pay for a private guide and extra porter for the 3 of us. The additional cost was fair and reasonable.
We opted for Sunset hike for the Everest view hike after we returned from the base camp. It was spectacular!
A few recommendations:
Take a quality neck Gaiter/Buff and use it from the start. Drink lots of water (I drank around 5 liters/day.) I’m 64 and I never had a headache and none of us needed any medication. You can buy it at every stop, but a good water filter will save you a lot.
When you show up to the airport do not accept assistance from anyone unless confirming they are with the company. There will likely be a guide and a driver so if someone tries to help you with your luggage outside of these 2 people it is likely someone looking for money and the company will not say anything to you about this which is unfortunate.
If you stay at the Wood Apple Hotel, I recommend paying to upgrade to a suite if you can. These rooms are more spacious and provide a much better experience

Epic adventure the best time! - An epic adventure! The nepal hiking team are a well organized compassionate company. With a journey filled with excitement and beauty. I just fell in love with nepal.
When I had taken ill our guide Ramkrisna made sure I was ok and if it wasn't for him and the team I wouldn't have completed Base camp.
The tea houses were excellent and the food just got better the higher you climbed. I never seen such beautiful baked goods.
After our climb and arrived back at Kathmandu my husband and myself had a very good all day tour of the city which deepened my application for the culture.
Our traveling companions were top rate and if I could travel with them again.
Some say it's a once in lifetime journey not me! My husband and myself are Lready planning on returning and hitting the trek again

Great trip! - Just finished up with EBC trek with Nepal hiking team, had a really great experience and would highly recommend them. Our guide Ganga was great, he was really approachable throughout and became more of friend than a guide as the trip went on! Our porter Mr Raz was also great, always with a smile on his face and willing to help however possible.
I'm sure I'll be back in Nepal for more hiking trips in the future and when I am Nepal hiking team and Ganga will be my go to tour operator and guide!

Fantastic EBC Tour! - I signed up as a solo traveller to do the EBC trek as part of group tour. I found Nepal Hiking Team to be extremely organised and professional during the entire process. They were very responsive to my emails and answered any questions I had prior to the trip. Our two guides (Paban & Prem) did everything possible to ensure that the trip went smoothly and everyone was happy throughout. They provided us plenty of options during the trek and were always willing to change plans to suit our needs. I can't say thanks enough!

Excellent trek company - From my initial emails with Ganga in January through to arriving in late November and leaving today, NHT have been really excellent. They tailored an EBC plus Chola Pass trip for my needs. My guide Kishor and his cousin Boujraj as porter were great company and really took care of this novice. They had my back. We had a superb time, adjusting the schedule as we went but I never felt pressured and could do my own pace. Teahouses sometimes very basic of course, and as expected. But at other times eg Tengboche, Namche and Lukla they exceeded my expectations. A big thank you for reuniting me with a book about Everest which I left behind accidentally on day 4-5 and via another guide and the porter house in Namche they got it back to me a week later. Now that's service. Kishor, thank you so much for everything. Well done to Nepal Hiking Team.

Best Trekking company in Nepal - This is my third trek with Nepal
Hiking Team and they proved once again why they are worthy of my repeat business. This is the first time I didn’t go on a private trek, and I couldn’t have been luckier to be paired with the group of nine I was with. If you’re reluctant to do a group, keep in mind you can still have your own room and everyone treks at their own pace. Having the group for support and comraderie made my trip the fulfilling experience that it was.
Our trip was plagued with issues related to the flooding in September and the backup of people stuck at the airport in Lukla. After it hadn’t cleared up for a couple days we opted to do the drive and then trek from a different starting point. This meant hours and hours of driving and a couple extra days of trekking. As hard and unexpected as it was, I wouldn’t change it for anything. Our team’s bond was tested and strengthened, and our guide, Dipendra, was extraordinary in the face of the many changes and adaptations on our journey. Anyone can lead a group when everything goes to plan, but taking care of us all, keeping us safe, and managing the well-being of 10 people when the plan has to keep changing is a feat. Nepal Hiking Team and Dipendra and his team of assistant guides and porters (affectionately called The Boys) did everything to make our trip the memorable life-long dream we all hoped it would be. I cannot recommend Nepal Hiking Team highly enough. Everest Base Camp isn’t an easy walk and the weather and flight conditions can change quickly. Having a company that you know will have you covered no matter what is paramount. Nepal Hiking Team has proven to me time and again that I am in good hands. I wouldn’t trust my treks to anyone else.
