Good challenge, unforgettable Everest Base Camp. Met a best tour guide Anil Magar, nice porter Sunil and awesome team. - I had my EBC trek in October 2024 with Green Valley, and I believe it’s a fantastic decision. As a solo trekker, I feel fortunate to be joining two couples for the journey. Our tour guide, Anil Magar, is incredibly experienced and knows the entire EBC trek inside and out. He shared valuable insights into Sherpa culture and helped us identify the main mountains along the route. Anil is friendly and approachable, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend him for anyone planning to trek to EBC with Green Valley. Additionally, my porter, Sunil, was also wonderful. He helped carry my duffle bag safely and showed me around the village during our acclimatization day.

Trekking to base camp - We recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek, and it was truly a life-changing experience! The breathtaking scenery and rich culture of Nepal captivated us from the start. Our guide, Anil was exceptional—knowledgeable, supportive, and always ready to share insights about the region. He kept our group motivated and ensured our safety every step of the way, making the trek even more enjoyable. The trek also would not have been possible if not for our super porters - prashanth and khada. Reaching Base Camp was surreal, and the camaraderie among fellow trekkers, our guide and porters added to the magic of the journey. Getting to and back from lukla was a bit troublesome due to weather conditions.

He always willingy answered to all questions not only about mountains, culture and native people, but also we had conversations about personal life and we built a strong connection throughout the journey.

Great company for going to EBC - We had a really smooth experience with the Green Valley company! Had good communication with Raj and Arjun via WhatsApp. Everything went as expected, and we were guided by Gokarna and porter Surendra during our trek. Gokarna was a great and very experienced guide, and he told us a lot about Nepal! We have seen all types of weather conditions during our trek, and at some moments, some trails were closed due to extreme snowfall. Luckily, Gokarna was in contact with other guides and people from villages to check whether trails were accessible. We were very happy to complete our trek as we had planned it. Couldn't have done this without Gokarna and Surendra. Lastly, the EBC and Gokyo trek we did was absolutely amazing!!

EBC Trekking - The EBC track with Green Valley was amazing. The whole trip was very well planned and also spontaneous changes due to the difficult flight situation after the heavy floods were taken care of, like organizing an extra hotel night and the transportation. Our guide Lakpa was very experienced and took great about the whole group. We can highly recommend Green Valley and our guide Lakpa.

Everest base camp and Cho La pass trekking - Big thanks for Green Valley for organizing an excellent trip and flexibility! 👏✈️ We are also very happy to have had such a great and caring guide like Dilip throughout the entire trek, who is very knowledgeable in his work. Every day we were confident that everything would go smoothly! 🤗 Dilip not only planned each day perfectly but also took into account our physical abilities and adjusted the pace of the day based on how we were feeling, as well as anticipating when we should start the trek. 🏔🧭☺️ If we will go for the second time we will choose Green Valley and Dilip as our guide for sure! 😊💪

A Pilgrimage to the Gods of Himalayas - We landed on in Kathmandu on Septmeber 28th with a big shaky welcome given by clouds above Kathmandu Valley. After that ... everything went beyond expectations. Luckily for us, the days after that cleared and we were able to see the Himalayas even from Kathmandu valley. Because the Ramechhap airport was flooded, we were able to catch an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla - all arranged so well by GVN. There wasn't a single day when we felt bored or did not have an adventure or a story to remember. Once at Lukla - we met up DK - who I think was a most experienced, caring and optimistic of the guides I have ever met. Hats off to our three Sherpas - who had immense stamina, humility and friendliness. They helped and guided us all the way to EBC and Kalapatthar. When I compared this with other group of trekkers, we were really fortunate to have GVN and our guides. The gods of Himalayas blessed us with plentifully with good sunny weather except a single day we stayed at EVH because we were not able to get rooms at Namche - thanks to GVN for arranging such accomodation. We were able to enjoy and feel at home with Japanese dishes for lunch, dinner and breakfast. At Tengboche, I was able to be at the monastery in early morning hours to hear chanting. After that we were blessed with amazing 360 degrees view of Ama Dablam, Everest, Thanserku, etc. everyday. I plan to trek to three passes with GVN in my next visit to Khumbu area.

Comfortable Everest Road Trekking! - Joined a group of six friends on the Everest road trek. The trek was the best. From the first day to the last, you can enjoy the changing scenery. The trip was designed for altitude adjustment, so it was easy to enjoy. The mountains of the high peaks were visible in the distance at first, but finally in front of me. It's really amazing. It also provided a glimpse into the eco-friendly lives of people living on the Everest Road. Everything is done by hand, including field work and house construction. The boiling of water also uses sunlight. The passage of time is slow, and I feel a Nepally time. It is also a trek that is unique to the EBC road, where you can interact with the people who live here. I think it was the support of the Green Valley tour company that made the tour go so smoothly and I was able to experience such emotion. Since I was in Japan, Arjun from Green Valley has helped me answer various questions. As for the content of the tour, it's good to make sure both sides rub it together to make sure they're aware. Also, when I visited his office in Kathmandu, he helped me by going to the shop to buy SIM cards and exchange money. It was a really generous response! Mr. D.K., the Guide, was very kind and reliable. He thought about the pace of his walk so that he wouldn't get altitude sickness, and he also cared a lot about the members who weren't feeling well. One of the members had a child, but "Kancha!" He was kind to me like my own child. The porters came back after carrying our duffelback, walked with us and had a member, Dibbach, who was not feeling well. Thank you so much for your support! The Guides only know a few Japanese words, such as slow or hot, so the basic communication is English. However, they also try hard to understand the Japanese English they connect with, and they speak slowly and politely in their explanations. He explained the course to me every day after dinner, saying that it would be a steep climb in the first half tomorrow, but Nepally Flat in the second. I think broken English is fine, so I recommend you try your hand at EBC trekking using a tour of the Green Valley!

BEST TRIP EVER - Booked a hiking trip with Green Valley. Although there were many unforeseen circumstances such as the weather, the team from Green Valley were very accommodating and patient. Raj was able to coordinate and help make our planning easier. Bishwa and Shameeyr was the best guides i can ask for. They are spontaneous and fun! They are also very knowledgable and provided me with an unique experience. I dont think i will be able to find it anywhere else. Thank you Green Valley!
