Your sightseeing tour begins at 9 AM after breakfast. We provide a private vehicle and a professional tour guide. You’ll visit Pashupatinath Temple, Buddhanath, and Monkey Temple. The afternoon includes a final briefing and preparations for the trek.
Trek to Phakding
Phakding - Fly to Lukla (2804 meters) and trek to Phakding (2610 meters) for 3 hours.
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and drive you to the domestic airport in Kathmandu. After a 35-minute scenic flight to Lukla at 2804 meters, we begin our trek towards Phakding at 2610 meters.
Trek to Namche Bazaar
Namche Bazaar - Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 5.30 hours.
We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi River, crossing it several times on thrilling suspension bridges. After entering Sagamartha National Park, the trail climbs steeply until we reach Namche Bazaar, known as the Gateway to Everest and one of the most important towns on the Everest trail.
Rest for acclimatization at Namche

We will spend a day here for acclimatization. After breakfast, we take a short hike to Syangboche for splendid views of Kwandge Amadablam and more. We then return to Namche Bazaar to explore museums and monasteries, gaining insight into the Sherpa people’s traditions and culture. You can also visit coffee shops and bakeries with free Wi-Fi.
Tengboche Monastery (3860 meters).

We continue our trek towards Tengboche on less paved and narrower paths, crossing a couple of long and sturdy suspension bridges and lush pine forests. Tengboche Monastery is the largest in the Khumbu Region, giving the village its nickname, the monastery village.
Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m, 6/7 hrs.).

We descend on a fairly wide path with well-grown green trees. As we begin trekking uphill, we see wide valleys and fast-flowing streams far below. After a long hike, we arrive at Dingboche.

We enjoy a rest day in Dingboche, which is crucial for acclimatizing to the altitude. We take a day hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5083m) to aid acclimatization, enjoying views of snow and ice formations throughout the valley. We also appreciate the scarce flora and fauna of the Everest Region before descending to Dingboche to explore the local monastery.

After breakfast, we start trekking up to a yak farm, where you can enjoy views of Tawache Peak (6542m) and Cholatse Peak (6440m). The trail then leads to the Khumbu Glacier, following Duglha before reaching the village of Lobuche, with views of the Khumbu icefall, Pumori, and several smaller peaks from the ridge.
Lobuche to Gorakshep - trekking to Everest Base Camp (5357) and back to Gorakshep 6-7 hours

From Lobuche, the trail continues to Gorakshep. Along the way, we view the Khumbu Glacier, crossing the north rim of Everest next to Khumbutse and Pumori, before reaching Gorak Shep. After checking into a lodge and having lunch, we continue to Everest Base Camp, passing several ups and downs. At Base Camp, you can see Khumbu icefall, Khumbu Glacier, and close views of Mt. Pumori, Khumbutse, and other peaks. The base camp is adorned with many Buddhist prayer flags. After taking in the views, we return to Gorakshep.
Gorakshep to Kalapathar (5545m) and Pheriche (4240m – 5/6 hrs.).

We start climbing Kalapathar early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over Mt. Everest. Kalapathar, a famous spot for its panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, is just a pile of large rocks and dust. After returning to Gorakshep for breakfast, we head towards the village of Pheriche. The trek is relatively easy as it is mostly downhill, but the day is long and challenging as we ascend and descend a thousand meters each.
Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3440m, 7 hrs.)

We trek down to Pangboche village, where you can see the oldest monastery in the region, said to contain the scalp and bones of a Yeti. From here, the trail descends to the riverside, crosses a bridge, and continues up through pine and juniper forests to Tengboche village. The trail then drops sharply to the Dudh Koshi River and the village of Phunki, where we cross the river and head up towards Namche Bazaar.

Today is the final day of our trek. The trail descends sharply to Lukla, following the Dudh Kosi River. Here, we complete our trek.

Take a scenic morning flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and refresh. In the evening, we will have dinner with a Nepali cultural program.

Today, you will visit two more UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Bhaktapur, the town of devotees, and Patan, the city of fine arts. After sightseeing, you’ll have plenty of time for shopping in the Thamel area. In the evening, we invite you to a farewell dinner.
