This initial “downhill” day has misled many trekkers into thinking the Everest Base Camp trek is an easy stroll.
Day 4: Naamche Bazaar 11,306-ft / 3,446-m - 7.5 hours
Mount Everest - Nestled in the Himalayas, Naamche is a historic trading hub between Tibet and Nepal. With its charming cobblestone streets and quaint shops, it is the last town on the trek before reaching base camp.
