Scenic morning flight to Mount Everest. - I had a great experience on the scenic mountain flight to Mount Everest. Is wonderful flying along the Himalayan range seeing many of the worlds tallest peaks up to and surrounding Mount Everest, which we got a wonderful view of. I would definitely do this again and I highly recommend it. The flight crew pointed out which mountains were which and the Status of their level of the worlds highest mountains.

Amazing Experience! - Having read some negative reviews on this trip, I was initially sceptical. However, would highly recommend this trip! The driver collected us promptly at the pre-arranged time and brought us to the airport. He brought us to the terminal door, and told us which desk and company to go to. In the airport, everything was very straightforward. Do request at check-in not to sit over a window plane. Everyone was given a seat beside the window. If you're on the right side of the plane, you will not be able to see the mountains on the outbound, but you are free to move beside someone on the opposite side of the plane. At check-in, you're provided a map of the mountains which the stewardesses identified on the flight by coming to people individually. Although a quick flight, it's definitely once in a life time - would highly recommend.
Side note: the driver we had was really kind. A person from our hotel had been waiting half an hour for their pre-ordered taxi, and he brought her to the airport with us so she wouldn't miss her flight.

An incredible must-do experience - One of the best trips I ever made, if not THE best! Everything went smoothly, from pick-up to drop-off.
The flight attendants were very friendly and professional, they explained to us which mountains we saw all along the flight.
The views of the Himalaya are awesome and made me feel humble and greatful for having had the possibility to make this a once in a lifetime experience!

Amazing Everest Experience - We were a group of 3 with one as a super senior (91 yrs. old) where a wheelchair accessible travel activity was a blessing. The Himalayan Social Journey team contacted us ahead of the flight to share details of the driver and our airline ticket soft copy. Next morning, we had a 6:45am pickup for an 8am Everest Experience flight (via Shree Airlines). The pickup was sharp on time at our hotel lobby, using a AC mini bus which also had other patrons. The ride was comfortable and dropped us off at the domestic airline parking area. I wish they had a wheelchair onboard which my grand mother could have used to get till the airport entrance which is some 100-200 steps away. Post that the process was like regular flight booking. Make sure to ask for seats on the left and not over the wings!
We flew on a clear day and saw some amazing vistas!! My grandmother was thrilled to have seen the Everest during her lifetime. It’s an absolutely stunning experience.
P.S: buying from the airline directly will be cheaper than Viator but won’t include pick up and drop. After the flight, the driver was waiting for us outside and it was fairly easy process to come back. We were dropped back off at our hotel. The whole trip from pickup to drop took about 3.5 hours since our flight was on time and there wasn’t a lot of rush for the mountain flight.

Must do when in Kathmandu - Great experience and very good service. The scenic flight is highly recommended when you want to see Mt Everest but don’t go for long hiking

Opportunity to see the Himalaya - For the price of over 500 euros, it was nice, but not outstanding. You can't reserve seats, you get your ticket and seat at the airport, but it seems that there are only window seats. I sat in the second row, on the right-hand side, where you can't see the Himalayas on the outbound flight. Then the plane turns and the first thing you see is Mount Everest, I had the feeling that I didn't see enough of Mount Everest. Perhaps the plane could have flown a little further before the bend. The windows could have been cleaner for taking photos. The stewards were nice, but told us that they weren't that familiar with the other mountains, you get a map and a certificate. Transfer: Car very good, guide should tell people where he will pick them up at the airport or carry a sign with him to find him more easily.

Worthwhile Mt. Everest flyover better than climbing it - The flyover of Mt. Everest was very worth it since driving to the base or using other transportation would be difficult. In this way, one could get a good view from about 26000 feet.
Positives: 1) one had to work to assure a window seat, but once succeed, good photos are available! 2) during key moments of the flight, I was able to shift to other seats ( other side of the plane), to get photos.
Negatives: 1) had to “work it” while on the plane to assure a window seat- and it was not a full plane ( it can’t be; must be 1/2 full to assure window seats
2) had to assure your seat was not over a wing- depending on the aircraft model.
