Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (Max Altitude: 2800 m)
Flights to Lukla - On the first day, travelers will be picked up from their hotel and taken to the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. After checking in, they will take a 30-minute flight to the Tenzing Hillary airstrip in Lukla, known as one of the world’s most challenging airports. Here, they will meet their support staff (porter).
Phakding - The travelers will then embark on a 3-4 hour trek down to Phakding, a small town on the banks of the Dudhkoshi River. In the afternoon, they can take a detour to visit the local monasteries and explore Phakding. They will spend the night at a guesthouse in Phakding.
Trek to Namche Bazar (Max Altitude: 3438 m)
Namche Bazaar - On the second day, the trek continues from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, taking approximately 6 hours and reaching a maximum altitude of 3438 m (11280 ft). Along the way, travelers will explore Manjo village, the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, and cross the Dudh Koshi River via the Hillary Bridge, one of Nepal’s highest suspension bridges. They will also get their first glimpse of Mount Everest. The night will be spent at a guesthouse in Namche Bazaar, the home of the Sherpas and the gateway to Everest Base Camp (EBC).
Hike to ‘Hotel Everest View’ (Max Altitude: 3800 m)
Syangboche Viewpoint - Day three features a 3-4 hour round trip from Namche Bazaar to Hotel Everest View, offering a panoramic view of Mount Everest and its surrounding range. This five-star hotel provides a 360-degree view of the mountains.
Namche Bazaar - After visiting Hotel Everest View, travelers will return to Namche Bazaar in the late afternoon. They will have free time to explore the local market. The night will again be spent at a mountain guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.
Trek back to Lukla (Min Altitude: 2860 m)
Lukla - On day four, travelers will trek for 6-7 hours back to Lukla, passing through the villages of Manjo and Phakding. They will spend the night at a guesthouse in Lukla.
Fly back to Kathmandu and drop back to a hotel.
Kathmandu - On the fifth day, travelers will take a short 30-minute flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, they will be transferred to their respective hotels.
