Arrival in Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel and Brief Orientation

TIA - Today marks your arrival in Kathmandu. According to your flight schedule, our airport representative will be there to welcome you. You’ll be transferred to the hotel to prepare for the Everest Base Camp flight.

Fly to Lukla, approximately 45-minute flight. Trek to Phakding

Tenzing-Hillary Airport - The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is a breathtaking journey over the Himalayas, lasting about 35 to 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Lukla, enjoy a refreshing tea or coffee before starting your trek. The trek to Phakding takes approximately 5 hours.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Irish Pub - After breakfast, the trek to Namche Bazaar begins. Namche Bazaar is a major marketplace in the Khumbu region. If you need any trekking equipment, you can purchase it in Namche Bazaar. Today, you’ll enter Sagarmatha National Park, and your guide will assist with the check-in procedure. Lunch will be at Jorsalle.

Free Day at Namche Bazaar. Explore Namche

Irish Pub - Enjoy an acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar. Explore the area and consult with your guide about hiking in Syanboche or Khumjung Valley. Return to the same hotel. You’ll have excellent views of Everest and other mountains.

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

Tengboche Monastery - Tengboche is home to the historic Tengboche Monastery, one of the oldest in the Khumbu region. The trek starts with an easy, gradual ascent, followed by a descent. From Phunki Tenga, you’ll climb the trail to reach Tengboche.

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche

Dingboche - Chhukhung Path 7 - The trek descends gradually through pine, rhododendron, and birch forests, which are especially beautiful in spring when flowers bloom and the sky is clear. Capture stunning views of Ama Dablam mountain. Lunch will be at Summare.

Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Dingboche - Chhukhung Path 7 - Spending an extra night in Dingboche is beneficial before heading to Lobuche. Explore Nagarjun or Chukung Ri, and on a clear day, enjoy spectacular views of Makalu, Cho-Oyu, and Ama Dablam.

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche

Lobuche - After breakfast, continue the trek through the yak pastures at Thukla (4,620m). Lunch will likely be at Thukla, followed by a two-hour hike to Lobuche.

Trek to Gorakshep. After Lunch, Hike to Everest Base Camp

Gorak Shep - Depart early in the morning for Gorakshep. Have lunch there, then proceed to Everest Base Camp, which is about a three-hour hike from Gorakshep. After visiting EBC, return to Gorakshep.

Climb Kalapattar. Trek to Pheriche

Pheriche - Rise early to hike to Kalapattar (5,545 m). Return to the hotel for breakfast, then trek to Pheriche. Today’s trek is mostly downhill.

Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Irish Pub - The trail covers approximately 15 km from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar, with a mix of ascents and descents through rhododendron, birch, and pine forests. Lunch will be at Tengboche or Phungi Thanga.

Trek back from Namche Bazaar to Lukla

Tenzing-Hillary Airport - Follow the same trail back to Lukla. The trek takes about 6-7 hours. Celebrate your last day of trekking with your group, including your guide and porter.

Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu

TIA - After breakfast, take a short 5-minute walk from your hotel to the airport. If the weather is clear, flights will be on schedule, though delays can occur due to weather conditions. Once back in Kathmandu, enjoy free time to rest, relax, and explore.

Extra Day in Kathmandu

Thamel - This extra day in Kathmandu is reserved in case of flight delays. Use this time for sightseeing, shopping, relaxing, and resting.

TIA - Travel to Kathmandu International Airport for your final flight.

Everest Base Camp trek is one of the high priority wish list to trek to the base camp of world’s highest peak, Mount Everest (8,848m).
