The Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri Trek is a well-known 12-day hike in the Everest region, also referred to as Gokyo valley trek. The journey commences in Kathmandu, marked by an enjoyable 30-minute flight to Lukla. It provides breathtaking views of Mt. Everest and other peaks in the Himalayas from Gokyo Ri, situated 5386 m above sea level, as well as Ngozumpz Glacier, Gokyo Lakes, and the valley.
