Himalayan Treasure - The Gokyo Loop to Everest Base Camp with Ace the Himalaya is a top notch trip in terms of support, beauty and experience. This is a great way to meet your “tribe.” Plenty of other trekkers to meet in the tea houses and on the trail. The Nepali people are incredible, especially the ones who support you on the journey. The office staff is great with information and logistics. Sunil, the guide, is top of the guides I’ve had on other treks in other countries. His character and personality allow him to interact and lead well, adapting to situations as they come. His enthusiasm was amazing, and really kept us going. He found ways to treat and reward us in little ways that meant a lot. My words don’t match his worth. Dilliab and Ravi were incredible porters that served beyond their job description. Every day of the trek holds beauty. Beauty with challenge, so you feel the effort is well worth it. Thank you!

My review of The Gokyo - Chola Pass - Everest Base Camp Trek. Booked through Ace the Himalaya. Our Guide - Mr. Sunil Neupane an - This was my first trek in Nepal. I would highly recommend Ace the Himalayas as a trekking company in Nepal for all treks. They are highly professional and work in a very transparent manner. I booked my Gokyo - Chola Pass - Everest Base Camp trek through them. I got to know that I was in a group of total 3 trekkers. We had a pre trek briefing before the trek and we were well informed about each and everything we would be required to do over the next couple of weeks. It also there we met our guide Mr. Sunil Neupane. We call him 'Sunil Dai' now. I have been on many other treks previously before, but never have I come across a guide as good as Sunil. He was literally everytime there for us. He made sure we had all our meals, kept enquiring about our health, checked our oxygen regularly, always was cheerful to us and kept us highly motivated throughout the trek. He made sure to look after our smallest of inconveniences. Even on the trail he made sure everyone was at their own pace and no one felt left out. He is a very well informed guide and on the trek I got to know that he has more than 15 years of trekking experience. I can very easily say that it was only because of him we were able to complete our trek very easily without any complications or any medical emergencies. He is very familiar with the entire route and has an excellent understanding of the route changes and the weather changes. He also has an excellent knowledge about the entire region and it's history, and used to alwyas tell about all the amazing facts about the places we crossed. He made sure we were carrying enough gear in our day packs, had enough water for the entire day etc. He also used to keep a track of how much water each person was drinking, which kept us hydrated well on the trek. Simply it was an amazing trek because of him. Also, I would like to mention about one of our porters Mr. Dilip. Who I would say is a very kind hearted and caring person. He was also always present during our time in the teahouses and all our meals, made sure we had our food properly and always offered to fill our bottles to make sure we always had adequate water. Personally he also helped me a lot on the trickier sections on the trek and also used to accompany us on the the acclimatization day hikes. I also got to know him better and we played many games on the trek like cards and chess. Both of them are a gem of a person and went out of the way to make sure we were always okay and doing good. I would always want to go on my all future treks with Mr. SUNIL Dai as our guide and trek leader. Kudos to Ace The Himalaya team for organizing such an excellent trek and for their superb management. They have an amazing team and a good thing going altogether. Would definitely love to come back to Nepal🇳🇵 as soon as possible for more future treks and enriching experiences.

Everest base camp trek by golly lakes - Most amazing trip of my life!! I went for a solo hiking trip to Nepal without any expectations but ended up being the best decision I’ve ever made. My guide sushan was amazing definitely recommend him loads of experience and knowledge about the mountains. He helped me on every point on the trek and I felt more than welcome to his country. Definitely coming back to Nepal for another trek and will most definitely take sushan as my guide again.

Fantastic experience & great company - We just completed the 17 day EBC & 3 Passes Trek, with our outstanding guide Tej and champion porter Rono. Our entire experience with Ace the Himalaya has been fantastic - from our initial briefing with Prem at their office premises (and any questions we had were promptly answered), right through arranging a chopper when the weather closed in at Lukla (and starting the Trek on time!). Meeting Tej & Rono at Lukla was a seamless experience, and after a quick bite of lunch we were off. Due to my partner not being well (head cold & minor chest infection) - our brilliant guide Tej stuck with him for the majority of the hike, due to his slower pace (and also carried his pack at certain steep parts). His commitment (as well as Rono, our porter) to me, whilst going over the 3 Passes was superb! Making sure the right pace was kept & stopping when needed for breaks. The food & accommodation along the way were chosen very well and were more comfortable than those of other companies. We commented many times throughout the hike that we were glad we had chosen Ace the Himalaya as our tour company. Outstanding in every facet, with the resources to back everything up (even the many unexpected things that did crop up!). Nothing showed this more than our celebratory dinner once back in Kathmandu! Sujan was there to present us with certificates of our Trek and the entire evening was magical - from the great food to the live music (and dancing!). We have already started talking about another hike in Nepal and there is no question in our minds that we will be choosing Ace the Himalaya as our trekking company again - 100%!!! Another shout out to our guide Tej & porter Rono - I cannot praise these two highly enough for a magical hike! Should they get the coveted end of year award? Oh yes, 100% and then some! See you in the future for another hike! Rob Beenhakker

Amazing Himalayan trek with ACE! Everest Three Passes - 20 days - This was a trip of a lifetime! It was my second trip with ACE and it lived up to my expectations. Our guide Ngima and porters, Chetra, Teak and Gombu were wonderful. Without such an amazing team to support our group on this trek it would have been more challenging than it already was. Hiking up three passes with one over 18k' took determination and stamina. They led us with positivity, professionalism and humor and were always at the ready for whatever we needed. The extensive experience of our ACE team helped us navigate not only the trek by setting a good pace, but also stomach issues, acclimatization and all sorts of other unexpected concerns/questions that came up. Everyone in our group completed the entire trek and we were fortunate to have such an awesome team! Namaste to all!

EBC trek with Gokyo Ri and Kalla Pattar - The Gokyo, Chola Pass, EBC, and Kallapattar trek with Ace the Himalaya is a real success. The logistics are perfect: a car waits for us as soon as we exit the airport, and a beautiful hotel is reserved in Thamel, just steps away from the agency. Preparing for the trek from Europe was very simple thanks to Sujan's responsiveness; he answered our questions and adapted the trek to our preferences. On the trek, our guide Laxman is very attentive and knows the itinerary perfectly. The lodges are booked seamlessly. He loves sharing his knowledge about Sherpa culture and the Khumbu region. We appreciated the daily blood oxygen saturation checks at high altitude, which were very professional. A wonderful experience!

Wonderful Time on Our EBC/Gokyo Trek! - Our EBC/Gokyo trek was wonderful. Huge thanks to our guide, Nimesh Nepal, and the Ace the Himalayas staff for making it such a memorable experience! Highlights and Key Takeaways: 1. The Himalayas Are Breathtaking:
I’ve visited most of the mountain ranges in the U.S and loved them all, but the Himalayas are on a completely different level. I wish that we would have done this trip years ago. We chose the counterclockwise route from Dzongla, which allowed for a gentler climb over the Chola Pass. In contrast, the clockwise route involves a much steeper and rockier ascent from the Thangna side. I recommend the counterclockwise route for us mere mortals!
The view from Gokyo Ri maybe the single best view I've ever seen. 2. Outstanding Guidance from Nimesh Nepal:
Our guide, Nimesh, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and always eager to enhance our experience. Whether it was answering our questions or adjusting our itinerary based on weather or how the group was feeling, Nimesh handled everything with ease. Beyond his professionalism, he’s a warm, caring, and charming individual. He's also a much better photographer than I am! Our porters, Bigyan and Bishal were always eager to help and seemed to be having an absolutely wonderful time. Their sunny dispositions added lightness to some tough hikes.
 3. Seamless Support from Ace the Himalayas:
From the moment we landed in Kathmandu to our departure weeks later, the Ace the Himalayas team ensured everything went smoothly. During our stay in Namche Bazaar, one of our family members developed a sudden eye issue. After consulting with a U.S.-based ophthalmologist, we were told it needed immediate attention. Thanks to Nimesh and Ace’s team, we were back in Kathmandu seeing a local ophthalmologist within eight hours. They handled everything: helicopter transport, an ambulance at the airport, the appointment, and coordination with our travel insurance. This level of support was invaluable and made a stressful situation manageable. Fortunately, everything turned out fine, but having Ace the Himalayas manage the logistics made all the difference. They also simplified what I had heard could be a nightmare dealing with travel insurance.

Thousand stars for resam, containers and bininite - We had the pleasure to travel with the best guide named Resam. He was always very punctual and never intrusive, unlike other guides who thought they had to entertain us all day. In case of illness, he was extremely anxious and took care of us touchingly. Resam is a very dear person with an impressive knowledge of mountains. He was helpful and nice, and you couldn't ask for a better guide for a trek. He was like a ghost – you hardly noticed him, but when you needed him, he was there immediately. Also the porters with the name Gebund and Bninit were always punctual and friendly. I can highly recommend Resam and his team! Best guide and best porter of the year. Thousand stars..... Thank you for an unforgettable journey Gebhard Eberhart Markus Kreidl Moritz Kreidl

Top experience with best guide and porters - Amazing experience made even better by our guide Dipak and porters Garj and Bikssa. Not only did they answer all of our silly questions, they saved our lives on multiple occasions and were always willing to help us with anything. A huge thanks again to the best support crew! 😊

Top company ACE, top guide Sushanta and top porters Milan, Indra and Hem - ACE, our guide Sushanta and porters Milan, Hem and Indra were fabulous. Changing weather and group conditions meant everyone had to be flexible. Sushanta and Ace made things happen and provided solutions that enabled us to complete our trek, get to EBC and have the best experience possible for a trip of a lifetime. Their advice and guidance was on point - from what was the best food to eat at different tea houses, to timings for our trek, advice on what to wear and why each day and overseeing our health - when to take Diamox and pacing ourselves on the walk. The porters were not only carrying our gear but also assisting in acclimitisation days helping up the peaks and ensuring we were all safe. Sushanta is also a pretty good photographer - knowing the good spots for the best shots! Would totally recommend ACE, Sushanta and the porters.
