Great way to spend half a day in Kathmandu - Thank you Kamal and Chef for a wonderful afternoon getting to learn more about Nepali foods. The 3 choices of dishes was great for a variety of styles of cooking. The Thukpa (noodle soup), the delicious Momos (dumplings) which were tricky to parcel up, but wonderful bite sized morsels. And the Dal Baht….the main event. Chicken curry, vege curry, mustard leaf fried with spices, Achar, yoghurt, radish and carrot and poppadum. Wonderful. Communication very good in English. Cheers Tamsin

Making MOMO is fun and tricky - After enjoying few days in Kathmandu alone, I was suggested to take the cooking class. My tour guide refer me this workshop. The amenities of the cooking home was was great. I learnt to make the Momo and Thukka for snack and Dal Baat as lunch. Chef instructed very gently and ensured we all learn to make it. Best part of this workshop is candidates can choose the food they like to cook. I liked the taste of daal the most (it's texture was so soft with the fragrance of himalayan herb). If you are having free time, then cooking workshop is the best. Recommended.
