Sundari Chowk- One of the oldest courtyards of the palace comprising monolithic sculpture of Krishna dominating the serpent demon. King’s Column- Pratap Malla’s figure on the top of a pillar. Re-erected after 1934 earthquake. Swayambhunath: Approximately 2600 years old Buddhist Stupa, Swayambhunath is overlooking the entire Kathmandu valley. Swayambhunath- literally ‘self-existent god’, is often referred to as the Monkey Temple due to the hundreds of monkeys- the local dwellers. The main Stupa, memorials of monks and local people, ancient sculptures, temple of child protector goddess, monasteries, etc are the main attractions here. Patan City: Historically known as Lalitpur- the city of fine arts, Patan is the oldest town among the three sister cities. Day 1: Discover the historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Monkey Temple, the spiritual Boudhanath Stupa, and the sacred cremation sites of Pashupatinath.

2. Embark on a 30-minute journey to the Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple.

3. Drive for another 30 to 40 minutes for an hour-long tour of Pashupatinath Temple.

4. Take a brief drive to ‘Little Tibet’, the Boudhanath Stupa.

5. Return to your hotel, marking the end of the Nepal One-Day Tour.

Day 2:

Explore Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Square. This excursion is around 5 to 7 hours maximum, with a focus on medieval palaces, temples, and local villages.
