Worth 5 stars - This has been one of the best food tours you can go on. We have been on other food tours where they were very expensive and offered tiny portions so you needed to buy a takeaway on the way back home! Amazing food and such a lovely variety. Thanks for a great night

Great way to experience... - Great way to experience the foods of Nepal in one afternoon, getting to go to hidden places that I never would have otherwise found. There were 7 stops, all of which had a decent quantity of food, so come hungry! Vegetarian options at all places, so this tour can work for anyone. Deepak is friendly and knowledgeable, and was a fun guide for our small group tour.

Great walking tour of Nepalese food and the Thamel area. - This was a great experience - a terrific way to explore Nepalese food and the Thamel area of Kathmandu. Our guide and very professional leader, Deepak, was excellent and courteous, educating us about the food and locality. Deepak shared much interesting information, while having a good time, including appropriate laughter. Highly recommend this food tour.

Great tour! - Do yourself a favor and book this tour with Deepak! Not only was the food absolutely incredible, but Deepak’s knowledge and storytelling brought everything to life. He took the time to explain each dish, its history, and its cultural significance, making the experience so much more than just a meal. Beyond the food, he also showed us around town, helping us feel comfortable navigating the streets of Kathmandu. This was our first day in the city, and Deepak made us feel like old friends, easing us into the local culture with warmth and enthusiasm. A must-do experience!

Tasty and Fun-Filled Food Tour! - Deepak was a great tour guide and arranged a great spread of local tastings to try! He was very patient and gracious when we arrived late because of traffic. We had many laughs during the food tour and got to learn a lot about Nepal’s history and cuisine. The places we visited were restaurants and food stalls we would definitely had not have chosen ourselves, and we are really grateful we got to try them! Highly recommend this tour!

Amazing food tour of Kathmandu with Deepak! - Wonderful experience taking the walking and rickshaw food tour with Deepak! He was an excellent and informative host. Super friendly and communicative. The food was amazing and a great range of food stops that we would never have experienced on our own. Worked great for me and my vegetarian daughter, so would highly recommend if you visit Kathmandu!

Tasty food and good portions - Fun and knowledgeable guide with good English. Deepak took time to get to know his guests and it was good to also meet the other people on the tour. The food and drink was tasty, the portion sizes were good (I'd go hungry!) and it meant I tried some food that I otherwise wouldn't have done. A couple of the places we went, I wasn't sure of their hygiene, particularly around the cleanliness and also hand washing opportunities and the possibility for cross contamination. My husband wasn't comfortable to eat in these places but it did give an insight in to how locals eat and live and was somewhere that I wouldn't even have noticed otherwise.
