History coming alive! - I traveled by myself and was transported on my 12+ hour journey by Sharkar, a guide of unprecedented knowledge of history and philosophy (both Eastern and Western). I’ve never before had such a guide of immense talent, able to answer every detailed question I had throughout the seven sites. Sharkar made this trip unforgettable for me. I only had one day of sightseeing and debated between Everest base camp helicopter and this. I’m glad I chose the 7 UNESCO sites! Bhaktapur was my fave (and the 4th site of day) as it was most lively and the architecture was most intact and near pristine. And it was here that the day’s history finally started to ‘click’, coming alive, I was able to understand the Hindu gods and the symbology, and Buddha. Then Sharkar doubled down on the knowledge, never faltering in answering the detailed questions I had. For those who love history, philosophy and architecture, I highly recommend the trip. And you cannot find a better, more knowledgeable guide than Sharkar.

USA Solo Traveler enjoys World Heritage Sites - Perfect 2 days with my tour guide, Subash! Because I had booked 2 days in a row with Breakfree Adventures, we were able to customize our sites and timeframe. It worked out really well! Subash is very accommodating, as well as being very knowledgeable! I would highly recommend this tour and Subash as a guide! Beautiful architecture!

A day in Nepal - Rajat was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, and intuitive about what I was truly interested in seeing. You cover a Lot of ground, comfortably. Make sure you bring at least 7000 rupees/$50 to cover all entry fees, food and tips.

The perfect setting - This tour was perfectly set up from hotel pick-up to arrival at the hotel. We were very grateful for the coffee break and lassi break on the way. First, the driver and guide arrived in an SUV. Since it was just us as a couple, they explained the course from the nearest famous place from the hotel, so it was easy to understand the schedule. My husband and I liked Patan, so we stayed there for a long time and enjoyed a lassi break at a small coffee shop in the World Heritage Site. There were not many people, so the lassi while leisurely looking at the ruins was something special. The museum in the Patan ruins was small but sophisticated and wonderful. Two days later, there was an annual festival, and all the famous places and heritage sites were busy preparing for the festival, so it was fun just watching the guide explain the process to us.

Kathmandu- Tour if a lifetime - due to Madan & Ravi - I cannot believe what a fabulous experience today was!! The tour far exceeded my expectations. Madan, my tour guide, made every site come alive for me!!! He is a great story teller and incredibly well informed on the history of the Kathmandu region. The day passed quickly!!! Then there is Ravi, our driver, who seamlessly drove us to each site ( which is miraculous due to the traffic in Kathmandu). Ravi then was able to magically appear as we left each site - wasting no time getting us safely to the next site. The sites are incredibly beautiful and inspiring. I will be forever grateful to Madan and Ravi for help me to create great memories of my trip to Nepal. I highly recommend this tour!!! Margaret

nice tour - Subhash was on time, very organized, and pointed out things I was particularly interested in. We saw so much in one day! Definitely want to echo the other comments that this one does not include the entrance fees, so make sure to have rupees ahead of time.
